Recap:
“Timothy, we have to talk. It's About what happened before I left and what happened when I was out with the boys.”
I could see that he grew concerned because of his facial expression. He nodded and as we were about to leave for my office one of my guards that are inside the house guarding the front door came to me and gave me a package. “Boss, before your father left he gave me this package. I ran it through the scanner and database and it wasn't anything dangerous. It seems to be a letter or something. We are not sure.”
“Thanks Juan. You can go back to work now,” I replied with a smile and bowed as a response and left.
I carried the package. It was huge but it didn’t seem heavy. We went to my office and I opened my office. I was the only one with the key except Timothy, Amaya and Storm. Storm barely uses it but, uses it only when she is babysitting. We always hide our keys and try not to let anyone near them. We don’t let anyone have them. Only use three keys with the fewer people the better. My office holds really important information.
I locked the door of my office as we entered and grabbed the packages I had received in the morning before I left.
The two packages I had received were similar in size but they were different in weight. I opened the one with the least amount of weight and when I opened the package the first thing I saw was a note. I say out loud ,
“Dear babies,
When Writing this letter I dont know your names. I may not know you but, I love you. If you are my kids because I don’t know then I wanna say that you are my whole world. I will try to find a way to get you guys, me and mommy back together again. Daddy did something really bad.I made a deal with the devil. Your grandfather. He helped me even though he hurt me. I don't blame him. Don’t be mad at mommy. I love you. My name is Zachary. My new name to not cause a lot of attention is Isaak Adrian Nicolai. Noone can know who I am expect You guys, Mommy, Timothy and other trustful friends. Like Aunty Storm. I love you. I Love you too mommy(Dino). Tell Mom I love her.
Sincerely,
Daddy
I’ll meet you guys soon. Stay safe and healthy. Here are some presents to choose what you like.”
I put the letter back into the envelope and checked what was inside the box. There were earrings for all kids, bracelets, necklaces, nail polish, mini stuffed animals, blankets and a frame. The frame contained a picture of me and Zachary. I remember that day. I got the frame and hugged it tightly. It was the day that he was tortured. It was the last day I saw him. I did not realize I was crying. I want him back. He’s alive. It’s his handwriting. And his signature is the same. I helped him with the signature and all of it’s smallest details. No one can copy it. No one. Iput everything and closed it back up. As I was about to open the heavy one the doorbell rang and I heard cars and motorcycles driving in the driveway. I then heard Amaya yell, “Boss, they are here!”
The boys were ready and so was I. Let’s get this party started. What I didn't know was that I was going to meet the love of my life and a special someone.
Present:
“Timothy, we will talk about this later. Get the boys down here. I will put these things away and meet you guys at the entrance. Let the guests in after checking them.”
“Alright Dino,” he replied as he left the room in a hurry and closed the door behind him.
I was already dressed since I left in formal wear, already ready when I got home to greet the guests. I just hope Ashline does not cause any trouble this evening. I just have this feeling something is gonna happen. I put all the things back in the box and went to my secret room next door. I opened the door that was covered by a big picture of me and the boys with Timothy and Amaya along with Storm and Kimora. Koby was supposed to be there. That driver deserves to rot in prison. I hope Koby is at rest. I hope Storm is okay. She doesn't deserve all this trauma and abuse she had to suffer from the very beginning.
I entered the room and locked the door behind me. This room holds so many memories.
I remembered the day Storm, our friends, Zachary, Amaya and I crossed paths with this mansion. This mansion I am currently living in was abandoned; it was not in use for close to a decade. Even though it was not used for 10 years it was still in good condition. We were in sophomore year; we decided to ditch and spend time exploring the woods. It was Storm’s idea since she didn't really want to be around anyone except us. The rest of us agreed since we never really hung out in the woods except Storm.
Flashback:
Third POV:
The whole group, made up of best friends; who have been together since the very beginning, were exploring the woods that no one really seemed to explore except Storm.
(A few months before they explored the woods)
The rumors of the woods that surrounded the area affected everyone, not just Storm. People say that kids go into the woods and never come out. People say kids were murdered in the woods; others say the kids that entered the woods had a death pact; others said that they ran away but wanted people to think that they went into the woods but the one that affected the community as a whole is that all the kids that entered the woods were found dead, some went missing without a trace. People suspected it was Storm; all the kids were her bullies. A neighbor close to the woods saw Storm one day coming out of the woods and called the cops; that was before going to the woods following the Storm’s tracks on the mud and saw 5 dead teenagers bloody, bruised and some even had limbs cut off. The neighbor was petrified especially since one of the teens was her daughter. She ran out of the woods before seeing Storm laughing with her friends. The neighbor hated Storm and her friends even though her daughter was bullying Storm since the second grade.
The neighbor was one of those parents that spoiled their kids and did anything to make sure that their kid never got in trouble. This mom would sleep around with whoever was a threat to her daughter’s reputation and her husband’s just to keep them quiet. Her daughter was a bully, a murderer, a lesbian, a wh*re, a soon to be a drop out and a juvenile.
Her husband was a corrupt police officer, gay, a male stripper and a part time prostitute which he loved. He was loved on the streets and inside he never wanted to leave that life but he knows he has to at some point. Even though it may be hard to believe everyone respected him and took care of him. He wasn't just an ordinary man who had many secrets but he was also a little. Not the kink version, the coping mechanism one which was partially the reason why all of his customers loved him. Like I said, hard to believe but his customers are all respected, have boundaries and even sometimes there will be some customers who are new to the game that dont know the rules. When the rules or boundaries are broken his loyal customers near the around would defend him and protect him to whatever the consequence may be in return. His wife was stupid since the people she was having sex with was his customers but not all. He was only really known to the men, only a few females which were his allies or his customers wives. Most of the wives didn't know about the affairs since they were oblivious to the world around them and most were having affairs with other men in different communities or just women. Some of the wives were strippers and prostitutes just like him and respected so they didnt care.
While the husband was doing what he did best his wife Michelle called the cops making sure no one was looking only to see Storm was gone and so were her friends. The neighbor called and called the police but nobody answered. It was strange because everytime someone called in this neighborhood they would answer right away. Especially with the rumors of the woods. What the wife didnt know is that Storm was the leader of all the cops and even the higher ups. She ruled everyone with authority but it was not a dictatorship even though they still had their own laws and boundaries; they were just part of her mafia. Michelle didn’t know that her husband was in it too. Clare was about to reach the police station when someone answered her twentieth call.
“Hello, what is your emergency,” a female asked.
“What took you guys so long to answer? I have been calling for half an hour. I just spotted five dead teenagers near the woods near Crooks drive. Since you guys weren't answering, I decided to drive to you guys there myself.”
The female on the other end was silent for a minute and replied back, “I am sorry miss for the situation. Something was wrong with the phones. Sorry but another individual in the area called us and reported the incident, we already sent a team to the area.”
“Who was this other person?”
“Miss, the person who called does not want to be disclosed to the public. I can't give you that information.”
“It was Storm King wasn't it?”
“Can't tell you that information.”
“It was her. I saw her coming from inside the woods. After she left, I went inside and saw the bodies. She killed my DAUGHTER!!”
“Miss, calm down. I am sorry for your loss. Please come into the station so we can talk about the matter.”
The female on the other side was secretly laughing and so was Storm who was talking with the Chief of Police about the shipments that will arrive at the pier at midnight with Koby.
The call ended and Michelle was sent to a detective to start the investigation and tell her side of the story. Days, soon weeks passed and Storm was charged with multiple counts of murder. Michelle thought this was the end of Storm but she was dead wrong. Since the lack of evidence and the help of the corrupt officers the charges were dropped. The rumors got worse but they didn't know the truth. Storm never killed the teenagers. Storm doesn't even know either; but someone in her friend group was the real killer. The real serial killer would do anything to keep Storm safe and healthy. Even to this day he was never caught.
