Unnamed Officer POV
Artillery shells soared through the smoke-filled sky, screams roared out across the plain, buildings were reduced to rubble, and sirens echoed throughout the destroyed city as smoke and flames exploded throughout it.
"Beautiful! They turned out better then expected."
In the distance stood a titan of 14-meters. It's body is exposed in muscle tissues with very little skin. It's finger's made out of bone. It had a mop of blonde hair and greyish eyes. It's physique was lean with visible muscle definition, which seemed to help it crush all those who were in it's radius.
"The Female Titan. It's unparalleled versatility lets it adapt to any situation. Besides its exceptional mobility and speed, its ability to achieve localized hardening enables it to deliver powerful blows when necessary. And it can call pure titans to its side, though only for a short distance; Leonhart is the perfect for it."
Standing in front of an array of solders stood a 15-meter titan covered in brownish plates of hardened skin. Its body had small areas of exposed muscles in some of its joints. It's held short white hair and beaming white eyes. It pushed forward unaffected by the relentless barrage of fire that attacked it.
"The Armoured Titan specialises in hardening. That layer of protection allows it to charge straight through any wall or gate. For a titan that must draw fire and act as Marley's shield, young Braun and his perseverance are a good match."
A 5-meter titan dodged and weaved the relentless fire aimed at it. It had a small, agile body, a thick brown beard and hair, and sunken grey eyes, and its face was pure bone. The titan rushed towards the artillery and easily crushed it in its jaws.
"The Jaw Titan is all offense. It's small size makes it especially agile, and its claws and arms have enough power to crush almost anything. We'll give it to the quick-witted Marcel."
A 17-meter Titan grab a bolder before crushing it into tiny bits, It then threw the tiny pieces into an group of soldiers instantly rendering them to mincemeat. It held a distinct ape-like features how it's posture was far that of a human. He was covered in dark brown fur apart from his stomach which was bare. He possessed pointy ears and disproportionately slim, long arms.
"The Beast Titan is the same as always. Who would have expected such a large titan to be so terrifyingly good at long-ranged thrown attacks? And above all, there's a special power hidden in it's blood."
A 4-meter titan slowly swam out of water. It's torso was long and flat, allowing for objects to be placed on it. It's face was elongated, bearing a large nose and a tiny forehead. The titan had short, messy black hair. It was strapped to the brim with military equipment, mostly covering its face.
"The Cart Titan is best suited to long-term assignments, with the longest sustained transformation time. It's easy to outfit with arms and armour, making it a strategic all-rounder. The quick-thinking Pieck is the only one for the job."
In the distance stood a 15-meter titan. In it's left hand was a white Warhammer nearly standing as tall as the titan itself. Its face was covered in what appeared to be a white mask with long purple incisions. The titan wore a cloak, which covered its entire body except its lower torso and legs. The titan's legs were pure purple, and its body was mostly a silver white with small areas covered in purple. The titan grabbed the hammer with two hands and proceeded to smash into a large array of solders, instantly crushing them and reducing their form to that of a squashed bug.
"The Warhammer's adaptability due to his ability to create an assortment of weapons makes it a perfect titan killer. It's ability to hide the host in a hardened cocoon makes it nearly unkillable. For a Titan that acts as Marley's hammer, Schneizel, the inheritor of Helos legacy, is the only one suited."
Far away, An explosion of nuclear proportions consumed half the city and instantly fried any living thing in its radius. Inside the explosion stood an enormous titan, which stood at 60 meters. It's body was pure exposed muscle except a small slither of skin connected to it's mouth.
"A god of destruction. Hoover can surely make good use of it."
"I almost feel sorry for those island demons. One day, that thing's going to appear out of nowhere to kill them."
Magath stares straight at the destruction that lay waste before replying, "You're right. This group of warriors is far stronger than the last. But I'm not sure I like the military's plans. They're insane to entrust the reclamation of the founder to a bunch of kids."
"You think so? Those very same kids just wiped an entire country off the map." I responded.

Schneizel POV
"Maggots, Today's training is over, so get your high heel asses out of here. I expect all of you to be here extra early tomorrow, as I'll be announcing which out of you eight will get one of Marley's 7 titans."
"What do you mean, seven? Marley only has six, as the Warhammer Titan is under the direct ownership of the Tybur family." Zeke questions.
Magath smirks slightly at this but quickly responds, "You'll find out tomorrow you maggots now leave. Smith, stay here."
I wonder if it's about the Warhammer. Well we'll see. It's been a long 4 years, so I can't say I'm not happy to finally be over with it.
"Schneizel, I'm heading out. Good luck tomorrow," Reiner blurts out before heading off with Bertholdt.
"You too" I mutter.

5 minutes later
"Schneizel, follow me," Magath states in a sharp tone.
Knowing Magath is normally a man of few words, I nod and walk behind him. I follow him through a flurry of hallways till we arrive at the exit of the building. Pushing open the double oak doors, I look outside to see a familiar face of Jeremiah.
Smiling at the sight, I approach him and ask, "What going on?" Jeremiah looks down at me for a second before stating, "We're heading to the Tybur Manor. Lord Tybur hasn't told me why, but I can assume why."
"And that is?" I question. Jeremiah's face looks conflicted before he states, "Your most likely being sent home to inherit the Warhammer Titan."
"How do you even know that I'm inheriting it? No one was told." I interrogate.
"Well, when the eldest son of Lord Tybur is sent to the Warrior Training Program, it isn't hard to put 2 and 2 together, and you gave me the answer just then," he smugly states.
"Fair enough," I deadpanned. It does make sense. It does seem pretty suspicious now that I think of it. However, only a couple people even knew who I am, so it's not like it was well known.
"As much as I love to waste time, let's get a move on," Magath states in obvious annoyance.
Intimidated by the man, I quickly nod and rush into the back seat of the car.

30 minutes later
Opening the car door, I look around and see the familiar sight of the home I once lived in. It's barely changed. The same guards patrol the estate. The same maids look after the garden and polish the statues.
A assortment of mixed emotions attack me. In some ways, I'm happy to be back; however, I'm also dreading it in other ways. There are a few good memories, particularly the ones with Lara; however, the majority are bad. The loneliness that had encompassed me due to the isolation I was forced into. Books were my only escape, one of the few things that actually had given me joy in this home.
Composing myself, I push through the double doors and enter the main plaza. Walking forward, I look to see the familiar, cold atmosphere that surrounds the estate. Hearing the sounds of footsteps, I look to the left to see Lara walking towards me.
"Schneizel, Is that you? You've grown so much." Lara enquires. "Time does that." I retort in a smug tone.
"Anyway, Schneizel, how has it-
"Schneizel, Follow me. We have much to do."
I really hoped I would never have to see that man again, but life never goes as intended does it.
"Magath, Nice to make your acquaintance; however, we're in a hurry, so do you mind if you stay in the plaza?" My father asks.
"Sure," Magath responds in clear displeasure.
Following my... my father, we hurriedly manoeuvred through the estate and past the large amounts of art on display. After minutes of going through the estate, we presumably arrive at our location as my father stops moving and looks back at me. In front of us stands a dark oak door, which, after my father pushes it, leads to a dark hallway. We start walking through the dark passage, where we see the occasional cobweb.
"Schneizel, do you know who is the current Warhammer Titan?"
"Isn't it you? I heard the previous head of the Tybur family was the Warhammer." I questioned.
"Your half right, Originally, when we were apart of the Eldian Empire, whoever was the head of family would be the Warhammer, but since we betrayed Eldia and joined Marley, the Warhammer could be held by anyone in the family."
"You still didn't answer my question. Who is it currently?"
"You'll find out soon enough," my father responds in a vague tone.
Finally arriving at the end of the tunnel, I look to see a stone chamber. In the centre stood an old, shrivelled man tied up by two metal chains on each side.
Looking at the shrivelled man, I ask a question I already know the answer to: "Why is Grampa there?"
Even though we didn't talk much, Grampa was one of the nicer members of our family. Will I have to eat Grampa? Does that make me a bad person?
"Schneizel, you won't remember this so there's no need for me to be gentle."
"What do you mean, gent-
"Ouch", Glancing to my right, I see a veil being injected into me. Indescribable pain assaults me, and I quickly enter the sweet embrace of sleep.
