5 A Promise

After Kuro asked Ban to train him, Ban agreed and the very next day they began his training. "Come on kid you can do it" Ban whispers to Kuro as a drop of sweat falls from his head. "Mister Ban, I'm nervous. I can't do it." Kuro replies as he breaths heavily. "Keep going, you can do it." Ban says as he tries to motivate Kuro to take action. "GIVE ME YOUR FISH, CAT!!!" Kuro yells before releasing a daring battle cry and rushes towards a cat with a fish in it's mouth. The cat looks confused but moves out of the way as Kuro reaches for it before hissing and escaping with the fish which somewhat frustrates Kuro.

"How is it so difficult to steal a fish from a cat?!!" Kuro yells as he vents his frustration and Ban looks at him with delight. "Hehehe, don't worry about it. You're still training remember." Ban says while trying to console Kuro with his failure. "For now let's take a break. We will continue after a few minutes." Ban says and Kuro tries to protest but Ban pats him on the head smile "It's alright, we will continue after a few minutes." Ban replies and Kuro pouts before reluctantly agreeing.

They both sit down together to eat before chatting with each other and while doing so Kuro looks at Ban with an intrigued expression. "Mister Ban, Can I ask you a question?" Kuro asks and it gets Ban's attention. "What is it?" he asks. "Where were you from?" Kuro asks with a look of fascination. "What's with the sudden interest?" Ban asks with confusion as he was caught off-guard.

Kuro:"Well, I'm just curious to know where someone as amazing as you came from but I understand if you can't tell me".

"I'll tell you soon but not now." Ban replies before patting Kuro on the head and standing up. "Anyway we spent more time than I expected so we have to do twice the training".

Kuro:"Aww man".

Ban:"Get ready Kuro, it's time for combat training".

Kuro:"What?!! Noo!!!".

Ban:"Afterward I'll treat ya to a nice meal".

Kuro:"REALLY?!! YES!!! let's GO!!".

(Kuro trained for another hour in combat, physical training and still trying to steal a fish from a cat)

Kuro:"Huh, huh, huh".

Ban:"Alright Kuro, let's go eat".

Kuro:"Yes.Huh.Thank you. Huh".

(Kuro showers and changes then they both head out to a nearby restaurant)

Kuro:"Mr. Ban. Your planning to go back to your home when you find your friend right".

Ban:"Yeah, why?".

Kuro:"I was hoping if I could follow you back to your home".

Ban:"No".

Kuro:"B-but why-".

Ban:"I dont think my place will be good for you. I can't let you go there".

Kuro:"oh".

(Kuro looks sad)

Ban:(sigh)"You know, This isn't the first time this happened where powerful people show up out of nowhere."

Kuro:"huh?".

Ban:"There was a slime guy and his friends who were appeared at my home. God, it was really troublesome with them".

Kuro:"A slime?".

Ban:"Yeah and he was surprisingly tough for a slime".

(Kuro started laughing)

Ban:"What?".

Kuro:"I'm sorry, It's just hard to imagine a slime being so powerful".

Ban:"Yeah".

(Kuro suddenly went quiet)

Kuro:"Will you come back when your gone. I need you".

Ban:"That's why we're training you, so you could become strong and survive on your own".

(Kuro looked so sad)

Ban:"Don't worry, I'll visit you whenever I can".

(Kuro's eyes light up with joy and tears)

Kuro:"I promise, I'll be the greatest thief there is".

Ban:"Not when you can't even steal a fish from a cat".

Kuro:"You killed the mood, Mr. Ban!!!".

Ban:"Sorry,sorry".

(Ban smiles)

Ban:"If you want, we can start our training later".

Kuro:"thanks. I will steal that darn fish".

Ban:"Good luck".

Back in the world of MHA

Meliodas:"Hey there. The name is Meliodas. Nice to meetcha".

The Class:"Huh?".

Mina:"Umm, Mr. Aizawa? What's with the kid, is he a new student".

Meliodas is starting to get annoyed with everyone calling him a child

Meliodas:"Shouldn't you mind your manners kid. I may not look it but I'm even older than Aizawa".

The class:"EHH!!!".

Mina:"Your kidding. You look so young. Is it your quirk, makeup, drugs?! Tell me your secret!"

Meliodas:"Relax. I don't use any of those".

Mina:"Really??".

Aizawa:"I'll give you 20 minutes for your introductions, until then I'm going to sleep".

Meliodas:"Okay".

Asui:"How old are you Mr. Meliodas?".

Meliodas:"Currently I am over 3000 years old".

The Class:"WHA?!!".

Aizawa:(So, looks like the report was accurate. He really believes he is over 3000 years old)

Mina:"How is that possible?!!".

Midoriya:"Is it your quirk?"

Meliodas:"Hehe,its a secret".

Mina:"Aww man".

Meliodas looks over at Bakugou who is purposely avoiding eye contact like a child angry at his parents. 20 minutes flew by in an instant but at the same time Meliodas befriended almost every student in the classroom.

Mineta:"Hey Meliodas, out of all of us who do you think is the most powerful?".

Meliodas:"hmm..in terms of looks Bakugou and Todoroki take the top but in terms of actual power.... I'd say it's Midoriya and Todoroki".

Midoriya:"Huh?!!".

Todoroki:"hmm".

(Bakugou looks pissed. He grabs Meliodas's shirt)

Bakugou:"HEY YOU YELLOW HAIRED BASTARD!!! YOU HAVE THE GUTS TO NOT SAY MY NAME IN THE LIST OF THE STRONGEST!!!".

Meliodas:"Sure, your strong but your hot-headed temper and stubborn attitude are going to get you killed someday".

Bakugou:"Then why add Deku to that list?!!".

Meliodas:"He has more of a cool head and I can feel him having a powerful quirk. Now, I would recommend letting me go before things get ugly".

Bakugou:"You may have blocked my attack last time but don't think I can't blow your head off at this range!!".

Suddenly Meliodas's expression changed from a funny guy to a demonic smile. A black mark appears on his forhead that comes down his left eye.

Meliodas:"Ok then, Do it".

Bakugou:"What?".

Meliodas:"Kill me. You said you wanted to do it. Kill me".

Everyone in the room suddenly became quiet. Meliodas grabs Bakugou's hands and squeezes it a little to force him to let go.

Bakugou:"Oww!!".

Meliodas:"If all you do is bark and no bite then any villain will have an easy time dealing with you. You aren't on the list because of your hot temper. Enemies can exploit your anger to distract you and separate you from the team. I've seen a lot of hot-headed guys like you who died thinking they had power when they had nothing".

Bakugou:"Tsk".

Meliodas:"I'm going to ask you again. Kill me".

Bakugou:"Fine then you Yellow Haired Bastard".

Bakugou opens his hands and began to move towards Meliodas's direction.

Bakugou:"GO TO HELL!!".

Meliodas's expression changed back to its original shape and the mark faded.

Aizawa:"ENOUGH!! Meliodas, what did you do?!!".

Meliodas:"Hehe, just teaching a thing or two to your students".

Aizawa:"Getting the students to attack you isn't teaching".

Meliodas:"Hehe. It's my "special" way of teaching

Aizawa:"Nevermind. Everyone, your break is over it's time to continue class".

The class:"Aww man. It was just getting interesting".

(A few hours later)

(Ring)

Aizawa:"Alright class, Make sure to finish the assignments by tomorrow".

The class:"Ok".

(While everyone was packing their bags Meliodas noticed Midoriya writing some notes in a notebook)

Meliodas:"Whatcha writing?".

Midoriya:"HUH?!! oh Meliodas you surprised me".

Meliodas:"What are you doing?".

Midoriya:"Well,I'm writing down the details about you and what your quirk might be in my notebook".

Meliodas:"Cool. Can I take a look?".

Midoriya:"Umm,sure".

Meliodas:"Oh wow, you got quite a few details in this book and who are these other guys?".

Midoriya:"Oh they're other heroes".

Meliodas:"Nice, you got so much information on them and me but some of your information is incorrect".

Midoriya:"Really?.Like what?".

Meliodas:"Well, You're wrong about my powers. They aren't anti-aging abilities or physical enhancement. My Physical abilities are naturally trained.No quirk needed and I do age it's just my age cycle is just different with Humans".

Midoriya:"Humans?, You mean your not human?".

Meliodas:"Nope".

Midoriya:"If you're not human. What are you?".

Meliodas:"Well, I'm a demon".

Midoriya:"Huh?!!...To think that demons exist.No it couldn't be. Mutter mutter mutter mutter mutter".

Meliodas:"Relax. Anyway shouldn't you be going. It looks like someone is waiting for you outside".

Midoriya:"Oh right. Thanks for letting me know my mistakes. Bye".

Meliodas:"Bye. Well well, it's time to look for the others".
