A Family Day Before The Next

"I want you to gather information on the person who attacked you and dig deeper into who they are." Shigaraki says. "I thought you didn't want to focus on that issue seeing as we had to deal with Toshinori first?" Lady Nagant says. "There's something I want to verify about him." Shigaraki says. They walk out of the lab and to her surprise a car pulls up in front of them. The window pulls down revealing a lizard-like man at the steering wheel. "Let's go Shigaraki" the man says. "Good to see you too Shuichi." Shigaraki says before getting into the car. "I suggest investigating the area you found him in, there may be clues you could find leading to where he is." Shigaraki says to Nagant and she nods before the car drives off. "Impatient as ever I see Shuichi." Shigaraki says. "Blame your schedule." he replies. Shigaraki stares at the buildings they drive by for a moment before turning back to Shuichi. "I need you to do something for me Shuichi." Shigaraki says. "What is it?" Shuichi asks. "Call Himiko for me. I'm going to need her help with a mission I'm assigning to her." Shigaraki says which surprises Shuichi. "It's been a while since you've bothered talking to her. Why the sudden change of heart?" Shuichi asks. "As you know I don't have much time left here in Japan, I need to deal with Toshinori as soon as possible or at least gather information on him to ensure the other heroes could hold him off in my absence." Shigaraki says. "We could just destroy their building and kill Toshinori right now." Shuichi suggests. "I wouldn't mind going after Toshinori now but I don't want to destroy his building just yet. This is what I need from her. I want her to help me infiltrate the building and capture the scientist who is helping Toshinori with these experiments. Once he's secure, I'll kill everyone else." Shigaraki says. "What about Toshinori?" Shuichi asks. "He'll likely run away the moment he realizes I'm coming after him. Immortal or not, he knows he doesn't stand a chance against me. I just want to make sure that scientist doesn't escape aswell." Shigaraki says. "What's so special about a scientist? Shuichi asks. "He has seemingly done the impossible. I'll elaborate further when we get back but he might be a threat far greater than Toshinori himself if he's left alone." Shigaraki replies. "What did he do that's so impossible?" Shuichi asks again. "Does making an artificial duplicate of One For All tickles your fancy?" Shigaraki says before Shuichi slams on the brakes and causing an abrupt stop. "What did you say?!" Shuichi turns to look at Shigaraki with a shocked and fearful expression. "I'll elaborate when we get there just contact Himiko immediately." Shigaraki says and he nods before turning back and continue driving. He pulls out his phone and dials in Himiko's number and waited before she finally picks up. "Hey-" Shuichi says but was cut off. "It's been a while, I didn't expect you to suddenly call me Spinner." Himiko says. "It's an emergency and a personal request from Shigaraki." Shuichi explains. "I see, what does the Number One want with me?" she asks. "He has a mission he needs you for. Please meet us back at his office." Shuichi replies. "Very well, I'll be there in half an hour." Himiko agrees. "Thank you." Shuichi says before ending the call. He speeds up and after 15 minutes, they arrive.

Shigaraki walks out and Shuichi follows behind him. They walk into the building and there 3 heroes walk over to them. "Welcome back sir!" all three of them says before bowing. "I told you all that you don't have to greet me like this every time I walk through the door." Shigaraki says. "You helped us in many ways so this is nothing compared to the amount of compensation we owe you sir!" one of the heroes says and the others nod in agreement. "Don't treat me like some kind of god. I just helped you guys during tough times, that's what friends do." Shigaraki says and the other three began to tear up from his kindness. "You are truly deserving of being the number one hero." another hero says. "That's enough. If you're this energetic then you should be energetic enough to continue training." Shigaraki says before they all freeze. He smiles before walking past them and into his office. He sits down and begins to think silently. "Got something on your mind Tomura?" Shuichi asks before handing him a cup of coffee. He thanks him before taking the cup. "I suppose I'm somewhat tired. I have to deal with a villain here, capturing a dangerous scientist, unmasking a mystery man who attacked Lady Nagant, and also defeating Blood and Anarchy in the US. I would love to take a break and spend some time with my daughters." Shigaraki says before taking a sip. "I'm already tired just arranging this schedule of yours. When you're finished with this whole mess, I'll clear your schedule for the month and give you some time to spend with your daughter." Shuichi replies. "Thanks, I'm counting on you Shuichi." Shigaraki says.

They wait for another 15 minutes when they finally heard a knock on the door. "Come in." Shigaraki says. The door opens and a woman walks in with long blond hair, brown eyes and a beautiful figure. "It's been a while Shigaraki." she says.

"You seem well Himiko. I won't delay any further, lets get straight to the point." Shigaraki says and Himiko closes the door. He explains everything that happened to Shuichi and Toga and they were all astonished by the story he said. "I didnt expect things to have gotten this bad. How powerful is Toshinori now?" Himiko asks. "Unfortunately we aren't sure of that exactly. We know he has obtained multiple new quirks and have what appears to be near infinite regeneration however the only man who knows how powerful Toshinori is was Stain and he passed during his fight against Toshinori." Shigaraki says and Toga and Shuichi was silent. "I'm sorry, I know it must be hard for you to know that your husband has passed." Shigaraki says. Himiko sheds a tear before quickly wiping her tears away. "What do you need me to do?" Himiko asks. They discuss their plan and talk for a 20 minutes. "We'll begin tomorrow at midnight. Meet me there by then." Shigaraki says and she nods before walking out the door and closing it behind her. She pulls out her phone and turns it on, showing her background to be a picture of both her and Chizome. Seeing this she falls to the ground and breaks down crying. "Why do you have to be such a fool."

Shigaraki and Shuichi sit silently as they hear her cry behind the door. Shuichi looks at Shigaraki who shows an extremely angered expression. "Tomura-" Shuichi says but Shigaraki stands up. "Clear my schedule for the day Shuichi." Shigaraki says. "Where are you going?" Shuichi asks. "Home." he replies. Shuichi pauses but smiles before passing him the keys to the car. "Try not to forget the mission tomorrow." Shuichi says. Tomura drives back to his home, walking in the house was dark. He walks in and he hears giggling around the home. "Oh no, i'm so scared. Is there a villain who is in my home?" Shigaraki sarcastically says which makes the giggles grow louder. "Attack!" a voice says before two girls jump on him from the back and makes him fall to the ground. "I've been captured. Oh no, the villains have won." Shigaraki says before grabbing the girls and carrying them. "Good to see you two are having fun." Shigaraki says and the girls laugh. "Your home, I didnt expect you to be home so early." an old woman says. "Hello mother. I hope the girls didnt cause too much trouble." Shigaraki says. "Not at all, they are as wonderful as always." his mother says. Shigaraki puts the girls down and they tried to climb Shigaraki. "Play with us daddy!" one of the girls asks. "Not now girls, you can play after you've eaten." Nao says. "Thank you mother." Shigaraki says. "It's alright Tenko. Get changed and come eat with us." Nao says. Shigaraki nods and changes into his normal outfit. Before leaving the room he sees his family photo and picks it up before smiling. "Beautiful as always." he says before putting down the photo of him, his wife, and his daughters. He sits down with the rest and they all began to eat. "Your food is always wonderful mother." Shigaraki says. "It isn't that my food is good, it's just that you never have the time to eat good food so my average cooking taste far better than it actually is." Nao says and Shigaraki laughs. "Perhaps you're right." Shigaraki says. The girls are watching a video on their smartphones of Shigaraki taking down different villains and capturing them. "I can't wait to get my quirk, I can use it to beat bad guys!" one of the girls says. "I want to help people!" the other girl says. "Sachi, Ai, turn your smartphones off. No smartphones on the dining table." Nao says. "Fine." the girls say before turning off their smartphones and began eating. "Daddy, we will turn four in a few months. I can't wait to get my quirk and be a hero like you!" Ai says and Shigaraki pauses. "I can't wait, when we get our quirks, we will help daddy with-" Sachi says but was stopped by Nao. "Now isn't the time girls." Nao says before turning to Shigaraki and sees his hand shaking. After the girls finish eat, they play with Shigaraki until nightfall when the girls fall asleep on his lap.

Shigaraki carries them and brings them into their bed and tucks them into bed. He leaves the room and goes to sit with Nao on the couch. "The girls are correct. They will likely get their quirks soon, you should prepare for whatever power they get." Nao says. "I know, there's nothing I can do but prepare them for the reality of getting a quirk." Shigaraki says. "It isn't the reality of getting a quirk, its the reality of getting your quirk." Nao says and Shigaraki was silent. "I know you're scared if they get the same quirk as you. You don't want them to hurt those they love and experience the same accident you had when you were younger." Nao says. "I hope they don't get my quirk, no matter what if they can't control it the quirk will hurt them and everyone around them. You almost died when my accident happened. If you perished aswell, I wouldn't be the man I am today." Shigaraki says. "It wasn't because I survived. It was because you had someone to hold you and save you when you needed it. You could've gotten the same experience with anyone else as long as they reached out their hand." Nao says. Shigaraki was silent again and Nao hugs him. "Besides, you are here anyway so you can teach them. You experienced the loss of control and managed to control the power. Now look at you, a man with the title of the Number One Hero. I never expected this to have been your future after the accident but it's a future I am proud to see." Nao says and Shigaraki hugs Nao. "Thank you mother." Shigaraki says.
