Grand Migration

Four races out of the six major ones are now under Rohan's banner. The journey of unification was nearly over, but Rohan still had to unite the Elves and the Djinn. Though it would have significantly boosted the lines of the new kingdom, there wasn't time to do that. Rohan and the faithful leaders had set their eyes on the grand prize: a kingdom that's the first of its kind and grand, unique from every empire or domain in the land. A place where the moon's creation could gather and strive together for unity and faithfulness to the Moon. This kingdom was dubbed, by consensus of the leaders of the four races and the moon's servant, as Amaris.

Rohan loved the name but wanted to grant it some flair to make it more appealing to the faithful. So, he convinced the leaders of the four races to make the official name The Federation of Amaris. He pushed this idea by reminding the races that this kingdom's rule would be governed by him first, then the races by the order of their alliance with Rohan. He also added a particular case: whichever servant comes after him will automatically be given the kingdom's rule if they desire it. Anyone who opposes a servant's request for rulership will be immediately executed, whether a peasant or a current king.

Upon agreement on the name and choosing an absolute monarchy as its ruling system, the leaders Limuru, Leif, Cormac, Qasim, and the moon's servant, Rohan, celebrated in the orc's village. But before that happened, Rohan took them to a private room. They entered the same room where Rohan met with Lief and sat around the round table. Rohan looked at them and said, "It's truly great to see progress in favor of the creation."

Qasim smiled at him and said, "I agree, Servant Rohan." Lief smiled and said, "I never thought I'd see two emperors in my forefathers' village." Cormac laughed and said, "I'd never thought I'd see the first orc king in my lifetime." Limuru crossed his slimy arms and said, "To think this all started within my shack's vicinity. I'm truly honored." Rohan leaned forward and said, "I brought you here to discuss important matters. One relating to Amaris's affairs."

They all looked at him attentively. Rohan rested his arms on the table and said, "I want everyone to remember, including servants coming after me, that the rule will never be passed down by blood. Even if my children demanded that I order you all to ignore their demands." Qasim leaned forward and said, "We've already talked about that subject." Rohan gestured with his index finger and said, "Not what I'm about to tell you." He relaxed his hand and said, "The downfall of empires starts when the king concedes to the opinions of those who're unworthy. Those can range from ministers to mistresses."

He stared at them and said, "I want you all to pass down this wisdom so the faithful can keep their unity. The kingdom shall strive towards the greater good of its people even at the cost of their pride." He stood and said, "Kingdoms can be rebuilt! Empires can rise again! A slaughtered population can grow back! But losing a way of life and faith that is something that cannot be returned." Lief stood and asked, "Why are you making us think this kingdom will fail before it is built?"

Rohan looked at him and said, "Because I want you all to be ready for its downfall before it reaches the height of its glory." He looked at them and said, "I warn you of greed and pride. A thing that's born will inevitably die. That's what dead empires that were greater than yours always overlooked." Qasim smiled and said, "By the moon's glory, I thank her for giving us a man like you to lead the faithful." He stood, raised his mug, and said, "Praises be to the moon."

Cormac and Limuru stood, and with Lief, they all raised their mugs and said, "Praises be to the moon!"

A week later, at the demolished orc kingdom, a portal opened, and Rohan, V, Limuru, Lief, Cormac, and Qasim emerged. They all froze in awe at the sight before them. The barren land of the former orc kingdom has now become a paradise. It had lush greenery, great pure lakes, young trees, and was bustling with prey animals.

Leif stepped forward and said, "Is this truly the land we left?" Rohan stood beside him and said, "It is." V stood beside Rohan and said, "It's hard to believe this is the same land you destroyed. That destruction a year ago breathed life into it." Qasim stood beside V and said, "The land is fit to hold a large population; I can already see the stretch of farms being built." Cormac stood beside Qasim and said, "Not only that, this land hides abundant storages of fresh water in its belly." He pointed at the mountain and said, "And that mountain delivers fresh water from a faraway source."

Rohan smiled and said, "All we need now is to gather seeds and prepare the land cultivation." He stood facing the leaders, smirked at them, and said, "The construction will take us years, gentlemen. But know this: our children and their grandchildren will marvel at what we had built for them till the end of time." Qasim touched his heart and said, "I will immediately gather every able ghoul to start the construction and manage the supply lines." "The slimes aren't able to lift, but I'll ensure that no filth or plague touches this land," Limuru said.

"I'll gather all my forces and farmers to protect and sustain the construction," Lief said. "The dwarves were always fans of meat; I'll deploy my men to protect alongside the orcs, erect farms for cattle, and aid with all our might in the construction," Cormac said. V smiled and said, "I may be your guardian, but I'll focus all my efforts on helping this kingdom stand. I know every plant in existence; I'll scour the world to gather their seeds and work in delivering the stones we need for the buildings." Rohan giggled and said, "Well, I may be the servant. But I, as well, will pour all my efforts into bringing stone and wood and oversee the construction and placing the full blueprints in both paper and memory."

After their short pep talk, all the races and the moon's representatives began to work. The Goal: Build a kingdom that'll be admired for generations.

Five years later, at the gates of Amaris, the construction was finally completed. The kingdom of Amaris was erected, and the masses of the moon gathered to migrate into it. Rohan stood on a stage before the gate while the four races gathered to hear his opening speech. The gate was made from silver, and the walls were colored moon white, and they were made from the most robust stone in the land that no dwarven weapon was able to scratch.

Rohan smiled at them and shouted, "Today! The world became a witness to what the moon's creation is capable of building."

He pointed at the sky-high walls and said, "What you see before is a symbol of unity that'll last for generations. A land where the moon's creation can live side by side, not as enemies or nations, but as one body loyal to the moon." After delivering his speech and raising the morale of the faithful, Rohan took the key and opened the kingdom's gates to welcome her new residents.

The streets were paved, and the sidewalks were made from marble. The houses and buildings were a mixture of colors and had the design of ancient Sanaa. There were water canals that split into two sections. One brought fresh water to the city and its surrounding farms; the other worked as a sewage system that drained the filth away and deep from the town to the far lowland. The decorations were variants of low-maintenance trees and colorful flowers.

The public buildings ranged from theaters, hospitals, libraries, schools, colleges, and markets separated by their sold items: gold, food, antiques, etc. With many other buildings that were set for public entertainment. The currency was Dinars only. The main building was the grandest of all, the Moon's Council. This building was made explicitly to host the kingdom's government officials and the housing of the throne. It had a large water canal leading to it, sided with lush gardens and mini markets. The Taj Mahal inspired the building, as Rohan chose it to be the heart of his city.

The kingdom's government consisted of Rohan as King, Qasim as an advisor, Limuru as public affairs servant, Cormac as minister of internal affairs, Leif as minister of foreign affairs, and permanent diplomacy leader. On the other hand, V chose to become the general of internal security and Nasir to be the general of external security. Andrea became the chief officer of market management, and Balor was selected to become the military head engineer.

With the establishment of the kingdom, its residents' settling, and spinning the wheel of the economy, Rohan issued a new obligatory order for all residents.

"The kingdom is functioning, its resources have become abundant and unused, and eighty percent of our buildings are vacant.

By my power as the moon's servant and the first king of Amaris, I, Rohan, command my people to push their efforts to have more children. A yearly checkup will be done, and those who lack funds or resources will be aided by the government free of charge, and the government will aid those whose spouses cannot bear more children to have more spouses.

The kingdom needs to grow and won't reach its full potential until its population grows.

Moon's blessings be upon you all.

Rohan, the moon's servant, and king of Amaris."
