Porsche's Angry Outburst

As he slowly opened his eyes, Porsche found the Barley siblings hovering over him with concern etched on their faces. They both immediately inquired, "Hey, are you alright?"

Porsche, still a bit disoriented, asked, "Where are we?"

Ken replied gently, "We're at the hospital. How are you feeling now?"

Both the Barley siblings, especially Wennes appeared visibly anxious about Porsche's well-being.

Porsche shielded his eyes from the harsh hospital lights and continued, "I'm okay now. What happened to me?"

Ken explained, "You were speaking, and then suddenly you fainted."

Porsche struggled to recall the events leading up to his collapse and then glanced at Ken. He finally revealed, "I saw Anna."

Wennes, who was unaware of who Anna was, exchanged a questioning glance with Ken. Ken let out a heavy sigh before explaining, "Obviously, she's staying at the same hotel."

Porsche, clearly upset, added, "I saw her with that guy."

".........."

"Anna, let's have another round," Taylor proposed, but Anna declined, "No, I think I should sleep now."

Taylor attempted to adjust Anna's hair, but she pulled away, stating, "I'm good, you don't need to worry about me."

As Taylor let her go, Anna made her way to the elevator and ascended to her room.

Once inside, she rushed to the balcony, seeking some fresh air and a moment of solitude. Anxiously, she murmured to herself, "I hope it's not him, but I clearly saw Ken."

Attempting to calm her racing thoughts, Anna tried to steady her breathing and regain her composure in the solitude of her balcony.

Ken, Porsche, and Wennes returned to the hotel, where Ken suggested that Wennes retire to her room, promising to explain everything to her the next day.

Porsche followed Ken back to their room, his mind still preoccupied with thoughts of Anna, even as Ken slept peacefully beside him.

At 3:00 in the morning, Anna awoke, her throat parched.

To her dismay, the mini fridge beside her bed was empty, and her own water bottle was also dry.

Faced with persistent thirst, she resolved to visit the hotel's sundry shop on the ground floor for some fresh water.

Simultaneously, Porsche, feeling stifled in the room, sought solace in the hotel's serene courtyard, hoping to find a moment of tranquility amidst the late-night silence.

Anna, emerging from the elevator, found the hotel lounge devoid of guests, leaving only the staff present.

Approaching one of the attendants, she inquired about the location of the sundry shop, and the staff promptly provided her with directions.

Anna swiftly purchased two bottles of water from the shop, intending to quench her parched throat.

As she proceeded to pay, a note slipped from her grasp and fell to the floor. Before she could retrieve it, a stranger knelt to pick it up.

Standing upright, the unknown person handed the note to Anna.

The person who had picked up the fallen note was none other than Porsche. Their eyes locked for a moment, neither of them uttering a word.

Eventually, Porsche broke the silence, handing the note to Anna as she gathered herself to pay for the water bottles.

As Anna tried to walk past Porsche, he held her hand with a firm grip and steered her towards the courtyard, which, at that moment, only had two people.

Anna, attempting to free her hand from Porsche's hold, inquired, "What's the problem with you?"

In response, Porsche forcibly pushed her down onto a bench. Anna, quickly regaining her footing, attempted to leave, but Porsche shoved her back onto the bench once more.

Anna confronted him, "I had no idea you were following me. Why are you acting like this, huh?"

She moved closer, challenging him. "Can't you see I am doing fine without you? I don't think we need to be together."

Porsche, still looking away, let out a sarcastic laugh, his anger apparent. "You are the one causing all the drama.

Why did you cry when we met, and why did you call Ken that day?"

Anna, her patience waning, responded sharply, "Yes, I was being stupid. I'm sorry for the drama. Are we good now?"

Porsche closed the distance between them, causing Anna to instinctively step back.

"When you can act the way you want, I can do the same," he said, his voice laced with tension.

Anna pushed him away, her frustration mounting. "This is harassment, Porsche."

He let out an unsettling laugh, his tone taunting. "If this is what you call harassment, go ahead, tell everyone. Tell them I'm the bad guy harassing you."

The tension in the air was palpable, and Anna, her eyes glistening with tears, realized that she didn't want Porsche to be in such turmoil.

She thought to herself, "This is not what I want. I don't want him to get so worked up."

Observing Porsche running his hands through his hair in frustration, she gently reached out to him. "Porsche, we were friends, and sometimes friendships do end," she said softly.

Porsche, his eyes red and teary, pushed her away, his voice filled with anguish.

"Friendships end for a reason. But I don't even know what problem I caused for you," he shouted, his tone filled with desperation and hurt.

He took a step closer to Anna, his expression a mix of confusion and pain. "You were more than a friend to me. You were someone very important to me. Can you at least explain my mistake?" he implored.

Anna, feeling the weight of the situation, gently held Porsche's hands as she spoke, "Porsche, I just don't want you to cause any drama."

Porsche, consumed by his emotions, pulled his hands away in anger, frustration etched on his face.

"YOU WERE MORE THAN A FRIEND. Can't you understand this simple thing?" he shouted, the intensity of his feelings evident in his voice.

Anna, unable to meet his intense gaze, averted her eyes to the ground, masking her own suffering.

She softly continued, "Porsche, I don't want to be friends with you anymore. Can't you understand this simple thing?"

Porsche, stunned into silence, grappled with his conflicting emotions. He clenched his fists tightly, the turmoil evident in his every movement.

Anna's tears flowed uncontrollably, her distress palpable.

Fueled by his own tumultuous emotions, Porsche roughly lifted Anna, drawing her closer to him.

With a fierce determination, he declared, "I won't let you go this easily. I'll figure out everything."

With that, he pushed her back onto the bench and stormed away into the hotel, leaving Anna sitting there, her heart heavy with emotions.

Wennes quietly observed the entire incident from a distance, her heart going out to Anna as she watched her weep on the bench.

Slowly, she made her way towards Anna, settling down beside her. Anna, caught off guard, looked at Wennes and recognized her as the woman from before.

Wennes gently began to caress Anna's back, offering her comfort.

Anna, visibly moved, managed a small smile as she appreciated the gesture. "Oh, you're that woman from earlier," Anna remarked.

Wennes replied, "Yes, I saw you crying, so I thought to return the favor to your friend," a smile gracing her face.

She continued, "I am also Porsche's friend," hoping to clarify any potential misunderstanding.

Anna was taken aback by Wennes' statement. Wennes quickly interjected, "I don't want you to misunderstand me.

I came out for some fresh air but happened to witness your argument.

I thought it would look bad if I meddled in your business." The sincerity in Wennes' voice was evident as she tried to reassure Anna.

Wennes continued, "I don't know what the issue is between you two, but it's evident that you're both hurting deeply inside."

Anna remained silent, her mind racing with conflicting thoughts and emotions.

Wennes observed Anna's reaction, then gently added, "Well, I don't know if you're familiar with Ken Barley."

Anna looked at Wennes and nodded. "Yes, I know him. He's Porsche's friend, right?" she confirmed.

Wennes smiled warmly and replied, "I'm Wennes Barley, Ken's sister, and I'm also like a sister to Porsche."

Anna's eyes widened in realization.

Wennes carefully listened to Anna's response, trying to gauge her comfort level.

"If I'm being talkative or nosy, I can leave," she offered with a hint of concern.

Anna quickly shook her head, her eyes expressing gratitude. "No, no way. You're so kind," Anna replied softly.

Wennes smiled warmly, appreciating Anna's acceptance. She then continued, "Are you Anna?"

Anna nodded, confirming her identity.

Wennes's expression turned thoughtful, and she revealed, "Actually, I got to know your name from Porsche earlier. I guess he saw you or something and then he fainted."

Anna's worried gaze fixed on Wennes, her mind spinning with a mix of emotions and confusion.

Wennes sensed Anna's concern and quickly reassured her, saying, "We took him to the hospital in time. Then when he woke up, the first thing he said was, 'I saw Anna.'"

Anna, her voice laden with concern, politely inquired, "What happened to him? Why did he faint?"

Wennes assured her, "It was due to the hectic journey. He is good now."

Sensing Anna's guilt, she added in a light-hearted tone, "He is really okay now. Wasn't that evident when he was arguing with you earlier?" They both shared a laugh, lightening the somber mood.

Wennes then shared a personal aspect of her life, "It's been a year since I got divorced."

Anna listened attentively, a sense of empathy visible in her expression. Wennes continued, "After two months of my divorce, I found out that I was pregnant." Anna's eyes widened, indicating her surprise.

Wennes explained further, "The only people I had with me at my lowest point were Ken and Porsche. They stood by me. Then I left the country and came to Canada, leaving both my kids sad." Wennes let out a small chuckle, and Anna, now understanding, joined in with a smile.

Anna, wanting to provide some comfort, gently expressed, "It must have been difficult for you."

Wennes responded, "Well, it was in the beginning, but now I am used to it." Anna gave her a comforting smile, acknowledging her resilience.

Wennes showed her curiosity, "What about you, my dear?"

Anna initially remained silent, as if collecting her thoughts, then she spoke, "Well, my parents died when I was very young. My uncle brought me up, but he died when I was 18. That's my story in short."

Wennes responded with empathy, "Oh my dear, it must have been a lonely journey."

Anna nodded, grateful for Wennes' understanding. Wennes, sensing Anna's need for comfort, reached out to her in a consoling manner.

Wennes then probed further, "What happened to you two?"

Anna looked at her and managed a smile.

She then delved into the story of her past with Porsche, sharing the significant events and moments they had experienced together.

As they engrossed themselves in conversation, the time seemed to slip away unnoticed, and soon it was almost 7:00 in the morning.

After hearing Anna's narrative, Wennes offered her insightful perspective, "I don't know why, but earlier when I saw you both together, it felt like you guys need each other.

And it seems like it's only you both who can ease each other's pain."

With a comforting smile, Wennes bid Anna goodnight, saying, "See you in the morning, my friend. Have a good sleep."

Anna returned the smile, feeling a sense of warmth in Wennes' words. They both then made their way back into the hotel, ready to embrace a new day.
