"Just tell me what you need. I am here." Lucas could feel the genuineness in Hunter's words, something that even the latter wouldn't think he would be saying to a stranger he had met only a few days ago.
But here he was, sitting beside Lucas, offering the smaller man a much-needed encouragement to face reality.
"Thanks, Hunter. I can do this." Lucas took a deep breath while Hunter nodded and moved behind Lucas. The Huangs approached the two with gleeful smiles.
"Mr. Ming, hello. Thank you for inviting us to tonight's celebration," Delilah said, sitting beside Lucas.
She was looking at Hunter with a smile so wide that made the fellow almost roll his eyes if not for the fact that were respected by many.
"It's a pleasure to have you, madam. Everyone loves the Huangs. It would be against my grandfather's wishes to not invite your respectful family," Hunter answered politely, his tone hinting at his enthusiasm and gratefulness.
