At Daniel's penthouse, Samantha was on the bed without complaints. She behaved like she was being punished by a parent. Who knew Daniel could be this strict to her?
"The patient is burnt out and fatigued from working too hard the past few days and not getting enough sleep. Her body's immune system is weak so she needs to have complete bed rest. I've prescribed medicines that she can take to reduce her fever and alleviate her sore throat.", the doctor stated.
"Thank you, Dr. Nam.", Daniel shook his hands.
"I must go, call me if you need anything.", he nodded and returned Daniel's handshake.
When the doctor left, Samantha peered through the covers and tried to gauge Daniel's current mood. His face is unreadable, void of all emotions as he strode around the room getting a bunch of things for Samantha. He called his assistant and ordered him to buy the medicines. He did everything before he turned to sit beside the bed where Samantha is.
