Chapter 93

Khan sees vines with suction wrapping themselves around Yomi’s feet and legs, which the shield around him is unable to prevent keep away.

“Keep still, Yomi. I’ll free you. Ta…”

“SIR! LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!” shouted Yomi.

Khan spins around, with his Glaive pointed at his target: a giant golem made purely of rocks and metals with eyes of Hellfire. It is walking fast towards him with its arm outstretched, preparing to grab him.

“Incapacitate!” To his surprise, the spell did nothing upon impact: the golem did not even flinch. As a result, it grabs Khan by the neck, and like the vines on Yomi’s feet, its arm is able to pass through his shield.

The golem lifts Khan from the ground until he is just in a tiptoe to support his weight. Mags flies from his shoulder and tries to attack the golem, but as soon as the owl is airborne, it is magically encased in a cage.
