Mason King was probably too focused on fishing, and the other guests only remembered their missions for the show after digging up seafood with Edward Mason for a while. In a hurry, they picked up fishing rods and nets and started their official fishing.
When the time was almost up, the director called to stop, and everyone looked at the contents of their buckets with a happy-go-lucky attitude, as each person had a rich harvest.
Director Hugo instructed the staff to weigh everyone's catch.
Suzanne Trent thought that their bucket only contained fish and not much other seafood, so she assumed they'd probably be in last place. But at least they could finally eat a full meal with peace of mind.
However, to her surprise, the director still insisted on the initial game requirement of total weight. Regardless of how much more expensive the crabs, oysters, razor clams, and sea snails they had caught were compared to the fish, Suzanne and Mason ended up with the heaviest catch.
