Suzanne Trent opened her bag, pretending to put the script back in it, all the while staring at the rear-view mirror, at a face that was scholarly yet somewhat resembled the horrific figure from her nightmares.

"What is your last name?" she asked.

The driver didn't answer right away. Instead, he suddenly accelerated, and slowly raised his head, meeting her gaze in the rearview mirror, a cold, eerie smile spread across his face. "My last name is Carter."

It would be about right for Professor Carter's son to be this age!

A sharp alarm rose inside Suzanne Trent as she noticed they were almost at the west third ring road. Her hand gripped something inside her bag tightly, and she replied in a calm tone, "Carter? We had a newbie actor in our last drama with the same last name, but she's a girl, a real sweetheart."

Not getting a response, the driver remained silent.
