After her fever subsided, Suzanne Trent slept for a few hours in the hotel room, waking up only after dinner time.
Lucy Nguyen had been watching over her all the while, and upon seeing her wake up, hurriedly helped her sit up and fed her water and medicine.
"No need to be so anxious, I'm really fine." After taking the medicine, Suzanne leaned against the headboard and saw Lucy still looking worried: "It's just a cold and a fever, I'll be fine tomorrow."
"Good thing you squeezed my hand when you were taken to the ambulance without anyone noticing, otherwise I would have really been scared to death."
Lucy touched Suzanne's forehead, making sure she really didn't have a fever anymore, and her expression finally relaxed a bit.
Suzanne chuckled softly, her voice slightly hoarse: "If I hadn't reminded you, you would have cried all the way. People who didn't know would think you were mourning for me."
"It's because your acting is too good! I thought you really fainted!"
