As she hurriedly tried to decline, Abigail Trent was already pulling Mason King's hand and walking towards the entrance of the residential area.
Suzanne Trent turned to watch their backs, pointing at them and then at herself, "No... I mean... you two... did you even ask me?"
...did she say yes?!
She thought she was loud enough, but the two of them walked so gracefully and naturally that they didn't even bother to look back at her.
Suzanne looked dumbfounded at Abigail, who was tightly holding Mason's hand and striding forward to follow his steps, then hurried to catch up with the man who had already slowed down.
She stepped forward, "If you haven't eaten tonight, you can go back and eat, or just find a clean restaurant nearby."
Mason King glanced at her, his straight legs under his dress pants paused for a moment, and his deep black eyes stared at her, "Am I not allowed to go to your house?"
