The next morning, Andrew woke to the sound of plates and the smell of hot buttered bread and coffee. He slowly opened one eye and saw William in the kitchen setting up some breakfast at the marble kitchen island.
Andrew peeled his face off the white leather couch and staggered over to sit on a stool.
"Eggs?" William asked as he whisked a bowl of egg whites.
"Huh? Uhh... Yeah I guess... What time is it?"
"It's ten already," William said with a calm expression on his face as he watched Andrew rub his tired eyes and look around the pristine house.
"Where's Leen?"
"Lina," William corrected, "is in the backyard playing with Julie," he paused, "in the jacuzzi."
William watched Andrew's eyebrow twitch and he observed his friend carefully.
Sure enough, he saw Andrew yawn and excuse himself for the bathroom.
