The plants trembled as if the earth itself were enraged, and the tall grasses tumbled limply to the ground.
The vanshita that was lying motionless in her other hand shrieked in terror and tried to get away from her master, diverting Ludo's attention.
"What's wrong with...?"
Before she could finish the sentence, Ludo sensed something and looked up at the sky.
The black mass of vanshitas that had regrouped to resume the attack screeched wildly.
The ones on the outer side of the dome began to scatter towards the rainforest, but those on the inner side were stuck between the layers and layers that made up their companions.
Panicked, the vanshitas began to attack each other, trying to break through.
