Valderik entered General Medaan's tent and saw several people gathered that he didn't expect to find here so early in the morning.
The twins kept their heads down, their posture openly expressing their gloomy mood. Elian was standing on the other side, glancing at them every now and then with concern. Ambrose stood with folded arms on the other side of the table, his face somber.
Across from him was General Zurie next to the second hilmir. Unlike the rest, they both seemed more relaxed, but Duman's scowl showed his bad mood, being that he didn't throw away his gentleman's mask easily.
Seeing that all the members involved were present, Ambrose parted his stiff lips.
"According to my lieutenant, the mission was a success, but I think that being the last to leave the place, you must have something else to report, right?"
It wasn't a question, rather something said with certainty.
