A tiny goodbye

Ronald was there. In his princesses chambers to kiss her one last time before he was concentrating on things back again.

The curtains seated with the wind, the alpha male silently landing on the floor and walking towards his mate cautiously. His eyes are full of love and confutation. Oh how he has lost his Jane to some power he was not yet aware of.

Yet, she sleeps like a baby, without a care in this world.

Without knowing how she hurt her mate in so many different ways. She was oblivious.

He kneels down on the floor, right beside her sleeping face and rests his hand on the mattress space. His hand raises to caress her beautiful face, as if he was admiring a beautiful flower with the most delicate of petals.

"I do not know how I had lost you, baby." He confessed in whispers, eyes lit under the moonlight seeping through the fluttering curtains and wide windows.

"All I know is that you are not yourself. Something is controlling you. I might be wrong but...I believe it is your cousin, darling. Stop ignoring me for that man. Don't you see I'm getting hurt, too? Don't you see the pain in my face, too? Please...please come back to me."

The sincere requests of whispers lingered in the air for awhile, tears followed after. He hated how such a small thing did so much to his heart.

He hated how he didn't know anything about anyone anymore. He didn't care now, if he was honest.

And that was why he came here to talk it out to his mate. Sure, she was not conscious to listen to him and give him advice (or sort it on the spot), but he just wanted to talk things out in her lovely presence. She is his best consoler and his best everything. He scoffed at how things turned out to be in just the span of a month, or less.

The words were already weaved in his heart and he delivered it without a hindrance. Small drops of sadness cascaded down his face, one drop almost falling on her pink, moonlit skin.

Further, without leaving any evidence of his presence behind in the chambers of her room, he left straight through the window from where he had come from.

"I never knew you felt like that, Ron...

I'm sorry."
