Chapter 2 : A World Of Myths!!

As his ear registered the Buzzing through the phone, his body became heavier and heavier while everything around him started losing patches of colours...

Before long, even his so-called grey coloured world vanished...

The only thing that is left is a world of darkness as everything vanished around him and then in front of him, a ray of light was extending upwards or more like a pillar...

Seion tried walking towards it but it was all for nought...

It was then that he heard a familiar voice as if speaking to someone...

"Before the lights of the Gods enter the world!!"

"There was only darkness ruled by Titans!!"

"After an Epic war, Zeus seized the heavens and exiled the Titans!!"

"The land were cleansed and mortals flourished!!"

"But arrogance perceives many of all!!"

"And even a God's prison may be breached!!"

BOOM!!!

BOOM!!!

The moment her voice stopped, the whole space started shaking and soon enough his body was drawn to the light!!!

Quite funny though as he wanted to join the dark side not the light side but all that, unfortunately, was on his mind!!

As he passed through the light, he found himself in a young 25 something years old body, he was quite tall around 1,80 in height a bit muscular from what he could tell from his hands but found his suit-up appearance quite familiar...

Unfortunately, he didn't have time to react to anything else as a shattering sound burst revealing a monster Gorgon with snakes in its head and golden eyes as it started attacking us...

We all attacked while holding high our swords and in his panic, he did too like a mob only to be swiped on the floor with a teammate on top of us...

BANG!!!

Seion then heard one of the shields smashing the face of this monster and watched what he assumed to be the leader of this unit trying to fight it out...

Just as he got a sliver of hope, the leader lost his shield and tried to guard using his left hand while swinging his sword with the right one...

Just as the monster found the opportunity to strike with her claws, the leader counter by lightly shifting his body and rushing forward his sword and stabbing it in the monster all the while pushing it and smashing in a statue...

Now that he looked at it, its the statue of Zeus but soon it was no more as it crumbled and ended the Gorgon all the while the head of Zeus rolled around...

Unfortunately, our victory party never came...

That's because a figure he knows too fucking well appeared and caught the head while looking towards the leader who saved one of our teammates when the statue fell down...

"Your Gods Will Not Save You!!!"

Crack!! Crack!! Crack!!

And there goes the head becoming small stone pebbles...

"UUAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!"

The leader then lifted up a sword from the ground and raised it high like a mob and cannon fodder he was and as he yelled rushed forward...

What he knew about this was until here and was glad about it whenever he played this game but now that it became reality, he saw the continuation of it...

The new figure raised his hands causing the air to vibrate and solidify while the center of this place which was the point were the statue was glowed with high intensity...

BOOOOOOOM!!!

And all he remembers was a bright scorching light engulf everyone in the vicinity...

"Ugh..."

"Wah... I'm cold... Ugh, I'm hurt?? What happened??"

As he slowly came to his senses, he realised that his whole body hurts and that he was also cold but soon figured the reason for both occasions...

The former was because he was caught in the explosions on Mount Olympus as the portal teleported him in the river...

Hence why he feels coldness...

He got up, as his body was on the shore of a small village with nothing but a white shirt and pants along with sandals...

He stayed there and light up a fire with great difficulty while fishing and frying something to eat in the campfire and letting his brain.exe comprehend what the hell happened...

However, his soul knew the answer...

He was transported to his favourite game Titan Quest!!

This means that if he goes down the road, he will reach the farms where his first quest will appear...

Ai, it has been so long as he had almost reached the end of Atlantis that he barely remembers the quest in the farms...

Waiting for the night to pass and the sun to rise while sleeping on top of a tree in case monsters attack him, he woke up and started preparing for the trip of a few km away from here...

As he prepared everything, he started his journey and it would be a lie to say he wasn't excited...

He doesn't know why this happened to him, but he does know that he finally gained a purpose and colours in his soul...

After travelling for hours, he managed to see the farms from afar and soon reached them...

As he did, a man dressed as a farmer appeared from a few trees and started talking to him...

"Adventure!! Thank Gods you appeared!!! My name is Corythus!!!"

"Greetings... May I know the meaning of the tone in your voice??" he asked while being amazed at how alive everything seems to be...

Especially the fact that he introduced himself but makes sense in a way that he will do that because he can't have a mouse and click on him in this world...

"Oh, I was a bit excited to meet you... I welcome you to this region and i will tell you about the troubles that plague the nearby village, Helos."

"I see, so do you have any news for me??" he said as he saw he calmed his excitement down...

"Our village has recently been beset by Satyrs and other vile beasts. The help of your fighting arm would be greatly appreciated."

"Our farmers cannot get to their fields, and our supplies are running low. Please go down the road toward the village and try to help where you can."

"We have men defending every gate. Farmers and shepherds have come from miles seeking shelter. But it's becoming hectic and difficult to meet their needs with the appearance of Satyrs and Harpies!"

"It's as if all the things painted on a vase were sent against us by some angry god! Please go down the road. Helos need your help."

Hearing this guy talk, Seion finally remembered what was the first quest was all about and it was quite easy but he had to meet someone else a bit farther down to get it...

Saying his thanks and leaving him in awe about the interactions of the NPCs that now were living people, he moves down the road of the farmers and soon saw someone running here and there in panic...

As he walked a bit towards his place, he saw him and ran towards him as he immediately introduced himself...

"Greetings Adventurer!! My name is Timaeus!!"

"Greetings... What happened why are you in such panic??" he said to the panicked guy in front of him...

"You must have been sent by the gods! Please help me, they're going to kill my horse, that plough-horse is all i own. Without it, i can't farm."

"What i can do??" he asked...

"Help me! That satyr and those boars, please stop them! My poor horse! I never thought I would see a satyr!" said worryingly while going back and forth...

"Leave it to me, i will try my best!!" he assured him that he will try...

PING!!

-Main Quest Accepted!!!

After having some thoughts in his mind, Seion saw the entrance to the farm and slowly walked towards it and entered while crouching down, this was to avoid the Satyrs from seeing him...

Walking forward he reached the end of it and finally saw a horse getting surrounded by Satyrs and a Boar...

Trying not to make as much as sound as possible, he walked closer and closer and at that moment as he appear behind a Satyr, he reached out his hand and grabbed the crude copper knife in his hands behind shifting it towards its throat...

It tried to scream as it struggled with pain but unfortunately for it, it was the last feeling it felt...

As it laid down there motionless, Seion retrieved the knife from its throat and slowly walked towards the second Satyr...

Or he wanted to do that... But alas life sucks...
