If it was anyone else, Nova would have declined, but for Oswald, he could at least lend an ear.

Nova sat back down, moving over so that Oswald could also sit down.

『Thanks. So, what's your haul from club week?』[Oswald]

『Just the cooking club and weapon mastery club. Nothing much.』[Nova]

Oswald had a half smile, along with an awkward laugh and face.

『Hahaha? And how is Saeyeon?』[Oswald]

Nova leaned back a bit, before letting out a sigh.

『She's as she is. I don't really know how she really is, but she is… fun?』[Nova]

『Haha! That's an interesting way to put it. 』[Oswald]

『Well… the best way to put it is that Saeyeon is kind of… well, interesting?』[Nova]

He couldn't help but think of that time he got roped up with Mune because of her.

Oswald let out an unrestrained laughter.

『And you were roped into the weapons mastery club by Hanzo?』[Oswald]

Nova laughed too.

『Yeah. When he pulled me over, Derenne was there an-』[Nova]

Oswald had a palm to his face and was already stifling his laughter.

『Di-Did she go crazy on him? PFFT.』[Oswald]

Nova broke down into laughter as well.

『...A right hook to his face. PAHAHAHA! He was sent flying a few feet away!』[Nova]

Nova and Oswald laughed at the expense of Hanzo.

『How was his running this time? Did he manage to get away?』[Oswald]

『He used something called Accelerate and turned into a blur. Was that something I can do?』[Nova]

Nova smiled and thought to himself about how the times he, Oswald, and Sarena would spend together during his training, even if they were driven crazy due to his seed abilities.

『...Which brings me here, to the club I want to talk about.』[Oswald]

Oswald nodded, while staring at the blue sky.

『It's less of a club, more of an association.』[Oswald]

Nova looked over to Oswald with a curious look.

『An association?』[Nova]

Oswald nodded before looking back at him.

『It's a group of people trying to reach a goal, or at least that's what it is on paper.』[Oswald]

『Huh? What do they do?』[Nova]

『They research a lot of magic spells, seeds, and other broad things in the world of magic and mana.』[Oswald]

Something about all of that caught Nova's attention.

『Oh?! Will I be able to learn about new spells and things in there?!』[Nova]

『Yes. There's a whole bunch of other things too, but the main goal is the improvement of all the members and society's magic. If you want to join, just put your card here.』[Oswald]

He pulled out a metal sleeve that had enough space for Nova to slip his card into and gave it to him.

Nova had considered declining, but he was totally for joining at this point.

『Alright! I'll do it!』[Nova]

He took his student ID and slipped it into the sleeve that Oswald had .

『Great! I was hoping that this would go to use!』[Oswald]

『Huh? Go to use?』[Nova]

After Nova let those words out of his mouth, the metal sleeve crumbled in his hands and blew off into the wind, leaving only his student ID.

『Huh?! What just..?!』[Nova]

Oswald showed his teeth with a great big smile.

『Invitations to this association are extremely exclusive. We get points for our contributions and can cash it out for loot, cryst, and more. Invitations are one of the rewards.』[Oswald]

Oswald waved his hand back and forth in denial.

He got up and stared toward the sky.

He slowly walked away and became a dot in the distance after a good amount of time.

Once Nova showed up to class the next day, he found that Reagan left a message up on the board that read…

Once Nova saw this, he left the classroom almost immediately.

The cooking club was rowdy right now- and the weapon mastery club was also in a similar boat.

Thankfully, the club Oswald invited him to- the Magical Advancement Association- had a building that was open 24/7, along with members that always were there.

Nova began to make the walk across the campus.

At the beginning of the year, he thought that the academy was a small place.

After recent events, though, he found that the school's campus was absolutely massive.

Oswald had told him in the beginning of the year that the main building was huge, but neglected to tell him about the even larger full campus.

He kept walking and found countless buildings that all seemed to look the same, causing him to get a bit disorientated.

After walking for a long while he finally found a huge building that was vaguely labelled "Association".

『...It's a bit vague, huh?』[Nova]

Nova pulled at the door, but it wouldn't budge.

『Hmm..?』[Nova]

He looked down to his right and found a pad, similar to the one that led to his room.

『Ah? Oh, right.』[Nova]

He took out his student ID and scanned it on the pad before going in.

Once the doors opened, he was let into a place with blinding lights from all directions and he heard a voice.

『...Oh, god.』

Once Nova's eyes adjusted to the light inside, he saw a familiar messy hair and unkempt look.
