Deciding Rematch
Nova and Zousa cleanly landed on the ground to find Mune already at odds with Grynzael.
They were once again, in the forest.
『Nice timing, you two! You want to take care of the sword user, Zousa?!』[Mune]
Shereil, the girl with the greatsword, was just now materializing it.
『Got it!』[Zousa]
He formed claws that latched onto his arms before running toward her.
『Sir Fluffles! I leave the bow girl to you, once she appears!』[Nova]
Sir Fluffles flew out and quickly went around the surroundings.
『Kitsu, give him a hand!』[Mune]
Kitsu hopped forth before following Sir Fluffles into the surrounding forestry.
This time, there was no civilians to worry about-
Just Raina's team versus Yudola and her most powerful servants.
Mune and Grynzael were fighting hand to hand.
『You got lucky I was caught off guard last time! This time, I'll take you down with something special!』[Mune]
『Try it. Spective.』[Grynzael]
He shifted behind Mune and had his fist pulled all the way back, ready to knock Mune down to the ground.
He quickly turned around in an attempt to face Grynzael.
Mune threw his fist out at him, hitting him in the chest with a jab.
「...The hell?! How is he so tough?!」[Mune]
Even though he didn't hold back on that swing, he didn't even do anything to Grynzael's mana shield.
Grynzael smugly smiled at Mune.

He threw his fist into Mune's ribs while driving his body down.
The moment he punched Mune, the air was knocked out of his body and lungs.
『HAK?!』[Mune]
Mune's body crashed into the ground, shards of dirt and dust exploding from all around him.
「HE GOT EVEN STRONGER THAN LAST TIME?!」[Mune]
Grynzael's fist felt tens, if not hundreds of times stronger than it was before.
Mune groaned as he felt his ribs shattering.
「...My body is overextended. This is what I get for overusing Raiment these last few days...」[Mune]
He felt like he wasn't even at a tenth of his normal strength.
Grynzael raised his hand up, ready to swing again.
「...Too bad I'm the number one king of Genesis Academy.」[Mune]
Mune's mana flowed outwards, causing the dust to begin floating, along with his hair.
Mune's now revealed eyes made eye contact with Grynzael and glowed crimson.
『...Bias Flame!』[Mune]
Grynzael's eyes quickly opened wide.
『Spective!』[Grynzael]
He shifted behind Mune just as an extremely fast black line shot past before it caused some trees in the forest to burst into black flames.
Using this chance, Mune jumped back onto his feet, feeling a surge of pain go through his ribs.
『Nngh..!』[Mune]
『...That was a close one, but this is it…!』[Grynzael]
He pulled his fist back, ready to smash it into Mune and finish the job.
Still facing the opposite direction, Mune shouted.
『Divergent… FLOW!』[Mune]
Two black and white orbs emerged from his back before flying around Grynzael's fist.
As Grynzael swung, the two orbs dug into and span around his arm, shifting it to the side.
Mune quietly whispered quietly enough for nobody nearby to be able to hear him.
『...Lucifius.』[Mune]
Mune quickly turned around, materializing Lucifius.
A look of excitement filled Mune's face.
『You're durable... so no holding back this time!』[Mune]
Pain filled his ribs and body, but he persisted.
He used both his hands to force his sword up into a rising slash.
『GWOOOOOAH! FALLING SUN STYLE-...』[Mune]
His roar echoed all around, drawing everyone's attention.
The sword cleaved through Grynzael's mana shield and some of his body, before a flurry of petals followed with it.
『THIRD FORM! DAWNBREAKER!』[Mune]
Petals flew through the front of Grynzael's chest- where Mune had cut, the red petals blending with the blood, forming a perfect crimson petal circle at the peak of the swing.
『You… How…?! You… won this one…?!』[Grynzael]
He fell backwards, a deep cut on his body.
Grynzael laid on the floor quietly, most likely trying not to bleed out.
Mune had a smug smile before bumping his fist to his chest twice.
『...And don't you ever forget it!』[Mune]
A vein visibly appeared on Grynzael's forehead.
The other people fighting quickly went back to focusing on their own fights.
As he finished, he turned to find Nova already facing off with the newly formed "giant" of blood.
『...With the big guy out of the picture, she won't be escaping again.』[Mune]
The giant seemed to be a lot smaller than before- about 3 meters tall.
『Blessed Flame Rebirth!』[Nova]
He attacked with little bursts of his Blessed Flame Rebirth, in an attempt to see if it was going to work as it had on the other blood golems.
It would make the golem drip blood periodically, but it wouldn't do anything substantial.
Mune clicked his tongue, disappointed in the situation of the giant.
『...Tch. No dice.』[Mune]
He looked over to Zousa, then back to Nova repeatedly, not wanting to interfere.
Zousa was fighting off Shereil, who was haphazardly swinging her giant sword around.
『...GET OUT OF MY WAY!』[Shereil]
Zousa quickly grabbed the back of the blade with one of his hands.
『...Power is nothing without technique, and vice versa.』[Zousa]
He grabbed her by a tie that she had been wearing.
『...Sorry to do this to a girl, but...』[Zousa]
He slammed his head violently into her forehead, instantly breaking through her mana shield.
Mune held his forehead in pain.
『DAAAAMN!』[Mune]
She immediately made some strange noise before a big bruise appeared on her forehead.
『KUHACK?!』[Shereil]
He lightly laid her down to the ground, holding her by the tie.
『...Might've been a bit too rough.』[Zousa]
Mune stared at him with wide open eyes while clutching his forehead.
『...I… Damn… Fucking savage...』[Mune]
Suddenly, a scream made them stop concentrating on Shereil.
『AAAAAH!』
Once they turned to the source of the noise, they found Eudin, the boy- no wait, the girl with a bow, once more being harassed by the familiars.
Mune smiled stupidly to himself.
