Time marched on and it was full of regrets. But Rosie brushed them all off, thinking it'd be eventually alright. She was only duping herself, defaulting herself back to ignoring all problems, hoping everything would just fix itself.

The company was fine. The fire was deemed caused by an electrical failure and the secretarial office was moved up the fourth floor.

But Rosie and Cedric weren't.

Rosie knew Cedric was disappointed in her. She saw it whenever their eyes would meet. She felt it linger everytime she averted her gaze after.

He'd wanted to continue the talk.

She didn't want to hear of it anymore, called him stubborn again and told him to move on.

He saw that she was getting upset and finally let it go.

She could tell that he was frustrated.

And ever since that night, he hasn't said anything much.

Rosie's head felt like it was going to burst, just thinking about that. She truly wanted to fix things with Cedric.
