After Rosie's kidnapping incident, Cedric had opted to transfer out of school with Aiden. And he never saw her again. That was until he got the call from the police. He had rushed from Europe then and with Aiden's help, found where Rosie lived and where she was working.

"Aren't you going to see her?" Aiden had asked him in the car. They were staring at the apartment building where Rosie was.

Cedric's hands tightened on the steering wheel. He'd never planned on trying to find out about the life she made for herself after the kidnapping. Because after that, he'd transferred schools and focused only on school work, fulfilling his parents' expectations. It was not like he didn't think about finding her. He just didn't feel like he deserved to see her again after what had been done to her. He had never forgiven himself. It was better for them to go on their separate lives. She'd already forgotten him anyway. He'd have to do the same.
