She Regrets!

Dee hated to see him vulnerable in front of her. He is always strong, determined and knows what to do at any particular time. Seeing him all hopeless and fearful she knew it must be hard for him to be in that position. 

Her heart was heavy though, the fear of being with him alone, she didn't want to imagine that he might try the same thing again on her. She wanted to be optimistic that some seconds ago he might have lost his mind but now he is okay. 

She stood from the bed and walked up to him, she slowly held his hands and directed him to bed, Dominic was behind them, watching everything. He was holding the same fear as Dee, he hoped that Jake won't hurt her. 

"We were supposed to be sleeping, can we now?" She asked as she looked at Jake. 

Jake looked back at Dominic who motioned for him to join her in bed using his head and he walked out but left the door open.

Helping take out of his t_shirt, they slipped into the sheet, Jake was afraid to place his hands around Dee, his heart thumping in his ears waiting for what will happen next. He didn't want it to be something that will turn disastrous, all he wanted was to make sure Dee has a good sleep without any problems. 

"You know I will need your hands around me, and I promise I won't remove your clothes," said Dee in a light mood.

Jake chuckled as he slowly, placed his hands around her waist, "you've already removed my t_shirt, I doubt if by morning I will have anything on."

This forced Dee to turn around and face him, she had not closed the lamp at the bedside. She managed to look at his face. 

Caressing it slowly, she didn't want him fearing anything. She wanted to be there for him, support him all the way through until he is okay.

"Look at me hun, this is me, focus on me, okay? You don't have to fear anything because I am here for you. Whatever happened was just a stupid incident and we will manage to do everything okay this time, just focus on me, inhale my scent and everything will be okay."

Jake smiled at her, her words were inspiring and were meant to make him feel positive. He tried to do what she said and slowly all he could think of was her, her body in her head, her face smiling widely and her little drama, their pillow fight as they hit each other and the soft feeling on her hair on his head.  He wanted this so bad, and his mind was at peace. There were no images of people fighting to pleasure themselves and he managed to close his eyes, with his head on top of Dee's and his arms on her waist. Dee crotched closer to him, placed his head on the nape of his neck as she threw her leg on top of his thighs and snored softly.

Dominic was waiting to hear any noise, but all he heard was a silence that was prevailing in the room, he decided to make a shawl from the sofa and sleep on the sofa calling it a night.

In the home of The King's,

Things have not been going quite well. After the news that their most powerful and superior leader has been arrested. The house was in chaos as Gladys and Nicholas tried to calm the other guest that had come inside the house. 

People were angry that ever since they joined the community, nothing has been done. They had hoped for a better future, with money and fame but still, here they were, poorer than they already were. 

They were blaming The Kings for their misery and poverty. 

"When is this going to be settled? We can't be spending almost two hundred dollars to register then you can't give me something that I registered for! It's either I have the money or we start being dramatic!" Shouted one of the members.

"Yes!" Backed other members as they shouted.

"Every month you have different jobs for us and tell us that after that we will get compensated, you made us give out our innocent kids with the intentions of getting money but after sometimes, you guys went silent or gave us other fake promises that don't work at all."

"Do you still remember how you will tell us to sleep with dead bodies, have intimacy with to without a care in the work and said it was one way of pleasing our god?" Asked one of the members.

"Some of us were even forced to have sex with our farm animals for the same purpose and here we are, suffering from the same disease animals do suffer from? We are sick, my tried. Yesterday died from penile cancer because he was engaging in intimacy with his wheels and pigs as instructed. He died a poor man, sometimes he would get frustrated and maim his animals and you asked him to keep going on, we want the truth now, it's either you guys give us back the money or we take it by ourselves," said their leaders.

Gladys and Nicholas were afraid of what might happen if they don't talk to these people. They know the authority has their eyes on them and any little mistake will be used against them.

They were also in the loop, after Nannie failed to speak with them on how to move forward they knew it was going to be hard. They had failed to sacrifice Dee and here they were paying for their misery.

They couldn't visit her in the hospital because they were trying to monitor anyone who did that and arrest them for conspiring with her.

Their daughter Fern was not yet in with any news to help them. She was lost in the wind and there was no sign of her being found anywhere. 

Nicholas and Gladys feared that maybe she is the one doing the random killings because even after the arrest of Nannie and Diaz Senior, the killings didn't stop and it bothered the authority that there may be more than one killer on the loose.

Dorcas was among the members inside the house, she too was shocked that there was no progress. She jas tried her best, to please people day in day out to make sore she gets an opportunity at the high table. 

Right now if you ask her what she wants in life, all she can say is peace and how stupid she was to leave Jake and come to this drama. She couldn't believe that all this time they had been lying to her whole life. Telling her how rich she will be when she grows up. So all this time there was nothing like that? She regretted, throwing the modelling opportunities that she got.

She watched as everyone there an accusing finger at The Kings. They were the main people who came up with this religion in Woodcreek. She felt them, they had been through a lot, they had been brainwashed into thinking that they could get everything. 

She wished she could have listened to what Jake was saying when they were together, nothing comes for free everything comes with pay. It's either you work hard or you pay for it painfully.

Her work was to look for rich people, manipulate them, get their money. The only person whom she couldn't break was Jake, even after doing everything for him in bed, he still didn't fall for her tricks.

"The problem, you don't get what we want. The main person you are supposed to get and offer her is Diana Kings, that is the only sacred person you should get. We need to take time and wait until things calm down. That is the only way we are going to get everything." Said Gladys as he tried to calm the people down.

She didn't think that these would lead here. All she knew was that they would make a clean cut and get everything that they wanted. 

Her revenge against her childhood friend Mary and to take everything that is left of her in this world. Her only daughter Diana thinks she is her mother.

Nicholas looked at her, he didn't want any of these from the start. He knew things might escalate and now looking at how people were mad at them, he regretted ever accepting anything that comes from the mouth of his wife. All of them lead to this road and here they were all wrapped up and left to free themselves. Without any string hold, they are bound to be locked in this hole forever.
