Dominic Cheated On Me!

"Do you think we should tell them what happened?  I mean they need to know what happened and they will ask about Gerald and we will have nothing about it. Pete out here is behaving way out of normal, they will have to know what is happening. I think it is okay to just try and explain to them that it happened."

The whole Templeton family were at the mansion. Claire and Dominic were bound to arrive anytime now and Dee was busy asking Jake whether it was right to start with the news about the absence of the two people whom they knew about. She felt like it will be noticeable that Alex and Gerald were not around and that is going to be their first question. They might be tired but they won't forget how they left the place.  

Jake looked at Dee, he knew that the questions will pop up, but what Dee didn't know, was Jake was mad at Dominic for bringing an incompetent person into their life and almost ruining their lives. The first thing he aims to do is punch Dominic in the face. This is the only way he was going to feel satisfied. He didn't want to welcome him that way but he had to.

"We will tell them, we can't hide that from them. Is Jade still sleeping?" Asked Jake when he didn't see her holding the baby. 

Dee pointed towards Pete who was emerging from the door holding a plate and the baby. He was done feeding him and now he was bringing the baby back.  The moment Jade saw the two of them, he quickly climbed down from Pete's hold and rushed to them. 

Jake lifted him and carried him in his lap. He has grown well and Jake was happy that for the one month they have stayed together, there is nothing bad that has happened to him except for the kidnapping which he is not reacting to badly.  Even though Dee didn't have a bad nightmare, though Jake has not touched her intimately for four days, he wanted to give her time to be okay before they engage in their activities. 

Pete on the other hand became very tough. He made sure every morning, he woke up and the whole security team was in the field exercising. Doing a daily exercise routine from six am till seven. Those who have their shift over the night are supposed to practise later. Though Jake didn't see any importance of this, Pete claimed it was to keep them on their toes. They wanted to make sure every one of them had good fighting tactics even if they are a little group. Every day they would use the stadium a kilometre away from the hotel. They would go there running and the person who came in late would be forced to run another twenty laps and do all exercise twice. On the first day, all the security team thought it was a joke but when they were told that it was an order from the top, they took it seriously and have been doing it daily. Jake later applauded Pete for doing that, he could see changes in most of his guards. They would do their work very well. Pete was still Dee's bodyguard and they were doing okay.

They heard the helicopter sound from far and all of them walked out of the house.  Though all of them had normal faces. In their hearts, all they hoped for, was for the two to come back okay. They had not spoken to them just as they agreed. They had given them their time. To fight the war and save the world as they loved to call it.

They used the car to head over to the field where the helicopter was supposed to land at. When it stopped, the door was opened. Everyone held their hearts in their hands because they didn't know what to expect. They were just the two of them in the helicopter. They didn't want to use the airport because they could have created a lot of attention picking them up and bringing them into the house. Jake decided to give them the same treatment. Only that this time around, they were to use the helicopter from the hidden field to the house after using the plane from Afghanistan to the place. The first person to walk out of the helicopter was Claire. When they saw that she was okay, they were a bit relieved. They had nothing to fear because she was all okay.  

They then waited for Dominic to walk from the helicopter but he didn't walk out. Claire was still standing at the bottom of the helicopter her shades on, it was hard to read her emotions. The tension was killing. They wanted to see Dominic climb down but he was not climbing.

"Where is Dominic?" Asked Dee looking at Jake. 

Jake quickly run towards the helicopter because Claire was not even looking at them. He was staring at the helicopter but couldn't talk and tell them whether Dominic was coming from the helicopter. 

Arriving at Claire, she hugged Jake tightly and removed her shades to look at him. 

"Where is Dominic?" Asked Jake in a panicked voice. 

Claire pointed towards the plane. This made Jake give her some raised brows. Claire never steps down without carrying Dominic along. They will always climb down together. Even if something happens. Jake quickly jumped into the helicopter to look for Dominic. He feared that something had happened to him to make him afraid of coming down. They met at the door and Dominic laughed at him. They were pranking them. They wanted to see what they could do.

"Jeez, calm your tits I was getting something," said Dominic.

Jake sighed and looked at him with angry eyes. He was mad that they were trying to play a prank on them yet he gave them someone who was not worth guarding them. Jake's hands swing and clicked with Dominic's jaw.

He didn't even tell him what that was, instead, he climbed down and walked towards Claire., "next time, try and come up with a good prank, this is not a prank!"

Claire looked at him and raised her brows at him. They were just joking with them and now Jake was taking it all serious. Dominic has a painful jaw and Claire was there to massage it while they got into the car. 

When they arrived at the mansion, Dee greeted Claire and Dominic and their baby jumped at both of them but he was not allowed to get to them. They were forced to take a very long bath. The bath had already been prepared and their clothes were neatly arranged for them. When they were done, Claire jumped out and took her baby from Dee.  The baby jumped to her and hugged her tightly then moved to his dad. Claire thought that he was going to cry for some milk but instead he was just calling their names while dancing on their laps. 

The mood in the house was not what they expected. They found everyone rather quiet than normal. Pete who always cracks jokes was on the sofa, quiet looking at the magazine, Dee was busy playing with her hands while Jake was pacing up and down the house making everyone nervous. Claire and Domonic looked at each other. They thought they would expect a funhouse, they wanted laughter but rather they got scornful looks. 

Claire looked at Jade and he was fine. She didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Claire asked Dee how he was doing while they were away. Dee explained that he was okay and didn't disturb them more. "Except for the poop madness, and you didn't tell us that you are still breastfeeding him?"

"Come on Ree, he is my baby and the milk is all his, you want me to make some tea with it? And what is poop madness?"

"Yeah, he is your baby, so you wanted me to give him my dry breast to suck?" Asked Dee.

"Please don't tell me he was crying for breast milk while I was away?" Asked Claire.

"Plus videos didn't work, we had to do a skit for him to make him believe that we were you guys" Claire laughed at Dee's expression.  They were happy that they took care of the baby without any problem. They were worried that maybe he had contracted a certain illness or something bad had happened to him. They were yet to receive the news of all was not good while they were away.

      Jake was still thinking of how to start it.

"Do you know why I have been welcomed with a punch on my cheeks?" Dominic asked.

"Because you gave us a maniac, a stupid person to be my guard!" Said Jake in anger. 

"What does he even mean?" Claire looked between Jake and Dominic.

Jake walked and sat next to Dee. Pete was watching as the people in front of him were trying to argue. He didn't want the Alex part to arrive. He hated talking about now not that he has not talked about him.

"How well did you know Gerald?" Asked Jake looking at Dominic with murderous eyes.

"What? Why would you even ask me about that? He was my best friend Jake, he is a good man, you just have insecurity issues try and check that up!"

"Insecurity reason that Made Dee almost assaulted by your fucking ill if a friend? Oh, and your friend kidnapped your baby, is that still your friend, and before you ever open your mouth to defend your friend, he was after the flash. Lastly, the last message he gave, was that he wanted to make you look stupid, oh, and don't worry you won't risk getting him and strangle the hell out of him, because he is not seeing any sun soon."

Dominic looked at Jake with questioning eyes and then threw his glance at Pete to hear his response. 

"And why is Pete not supporting your story or even Dee here? They are quiet only you have problems, Are you sure you just dont have your issue and you are throwing them at me?"

"Ooh, why didn't you think Pete is not cracking his many jokes? Cause his boyfriend was a spy for the same man. He was the informant and here you are trying to defend your friend, he even mocked Pete. So tell me again how your friend is a good person?"

Claire was now looking at Dominic. Everyone was, except for Pete who was buried in the magazine.

"Pete, any word you want to add on top of all these accusations?" Asked Dominic.

Pete held his magazine in his right hand and formed number four with his legs.

"What do you want me to add, the place where I shot and scattered one of Alex's eyes or the part where I punched and blew Gerald's brains off? I am not interested in any of that conversation, if you see Jake mad know everything is true and you should accept that Gerald was not the friend we thought he was. He was jealous that you received more promotions and he was stuck in his stupid ways doing nothing. You know maybe next time, do a second background check on a friend after years of keeping silent?" He went back to being silent.

Dominic couldn't believe what he was hearing. Everyone was mad that he had brought that person into their lives and almost destroyed the family. He had his hands on his head. 

"I am sorry guys, I didn't know that. I thought he was a nice friend and was willing to help. Dee, I am so sorry that happened to you and I didn't know if you will forgive me. Jake can you please just don't be angry? I made a mistake about that I didn't know he wanted to do that in the first place. I am so sorry."

Jake walked to him and Dominic moved back thinking that he wanted to punch him. 

"What are you ruining from dude, come here," Jake opened his arms for him, everyone in the house was surprised by them. At a point, they will be there arguing and some seconds later, the arguing is over and they managed to solve their problems. "Congratulations on your mission man, I'm not mad at you, I was furious but now I am happy that you are back safely so don't worry about that."

Dominic hugged him tightly almost crying. He wanted that hug from him. He didn't want him to be mad at that issue. Dee had forgiven them and didn't have any issues. They were more grateful that she was with Jade and didn't leave him no matter what.

"Pete, aren't you going to hug me?"  Asked Dominic when he was done with Jake.

"You wish man, I am not doing the hugging part, but congrats on your mission. I am happy that you guys finally got to do what you wanted."

The whole family were welcomed to a big dinner celebration. As much as they didn't have a lot of people around. They enjoyed each other company. Claire narrated all events that took place there. Dee was excited that his elder sister was doing what she loved doing the most. Saving the world from harm. Their project was bound to be released later that year. 

"Dominic cheated on me though!" The whole room was silent and the spoons stopped clicking on the plate. All heads bowed as Claire was talking. No one wanted to talk, they wanted to know whether what they were saying was true. The only person left was Jade, he was in his chair next to Dee scooping his food and eating it.

"Baby, come in I didn't cheat, it was something that I was supposed to do and the lady told you that I didn't sleep with him so why are you insisting on this?" Asked Dominic.

"Because I know when you have fucked a woman, the way she was smiling throwing me glance as if he had got what sje wanted so much? Here I am looking like an asshole!" Shouted Claire making everyone shocked at the table.

"Look, it was nothing okay, do you want me to say that you also fucked the guard who was supposed to be on our side but later crossed you and you just drove a knife to his neck?" Asked Dominic.

This conversation was heading in the wrong direction. Pete was just munching on his food. He watched as the two were trying to come up with a resolution. He didn't want to think of anything about love at this time. At this point, food was his only lover.

"Can I take your plate now that you guys are arguing, looks like they fed you very well in Afghanistan to even think of eating."

"Pete shut the fuck up!" Shouted both Claire and Dominic.

Pete raised his hands up and just looked at them getting food from the table leaving them to argue. 

"Okay, baby, can we take food, the dessert is ready, you know I can't cheat right?" Said Claire looking at Dominic.

"I won't too, you know I love you, baby, we did this together and I would love it if we don't argue okay?" Asked Dominic.

      "Food, but will you be my husband forever?"

Wait, was Claire proposing to Dominic after their argument? Everyone looked at them. Pete even left his food and turned to look at them. 

       Dominic laughed and so did anyone else. 

"I am your husband, let's just eat this cake and go to bed okay?" Said Dominic.

Claire gave a frowning face and looked at him. Dominic was busy opening the plate with a dessert that was served to everyone because they gave different desserts to everyone.

"Whoa, baby, were you serious!"  Asked Dominic opening his plate wider. On the palate, there was a beautiful ring sitting on the cake. 

"I can't go down on my knees, you know I do that regularly and I just fought a war but I want that baby, but if you feel like I am rushing things then I am sorry we can do this some other say you know."

         "Fuck no, I want this with you forever!"

Dominic jumped from his seat and walked to Claire's. Claire placed the ring on his finger, but surprisingly, Dominic had a ring too and placed it on her finger.

           "I love you, love you too baby."

Pete was busy taking pictures, when a cameraman walked out of the dark with his camera taking pictures. 

         "So when is the wedding!"
