CHEER ELLA UP

"Each shield is stronger than the last one." One of the team members voiced his observation. They saw a bright light from behind, they all turned their heads, and Romulus and Romeos were walking towards them, Cyrus ran to meet him and greeted them.

"What is happening?" Romulus asked Cyrus. "Are you blind or can't you see that Trent has run mad?"  Romeos clicked his tongue as he walked forward. Cyrus lowered his head. "I am worried about him sir." Cyrus's voice was barely heard. "Don't worry we will take care of it." Romulus patted him on the shoulder.

"Oh, my God! He has a gun!" Cyrus and Romulus walked over and saw a smoky black AK47 in Trent's hands. Romeos couldn't help but smile.

Elfira was now flowing in the air and looking down on Ella. "Since you're so righteous, let's see if you won't use this power to protect your loved ones and to avenge them when they are harmed," Ella gasped and took a step back. "Elfira, stop, don't be irrational!"

Bang! He fired the first shot and the shield got a little cracked. The fog in the forest reduced and some of the souls were being sucked by the trees.

A gray light left Elfira's body and started to enter Ella's

Bang!! He shot the second one and the crack got larger. The entire forest began to shake. Elfira smiled whoever that creature was, it was truly strong. And she was happy that her powers would be used by the right person.

Bang!!! The third bullet was fired and the shield cracked open, the fog from the forest scattered around the surrounding area and also got to where they were standing.

Ella fainted, and Elfira and the other souls flew into the sky. Trent moved as fast as a bolt of lightning, he found Ella on the floor, he gently carried her and teleported away with her. Romulus and the others rushed into the forests. They searched through the forest in twos and found the teenage boys who went to record a video.

Trent was now looking like his normal self as he tucked Ella. "Why didn't you reply to my text messages?" Trent froze.  Ella sat up, her eyes were swollen and her lips were dry. Trent quickly passed her a cup of water. Ella noticed that it was serious and mean Trent and she didn't bother to ask him again. She gave him the cup and he kept it on the credenza.

He sat beside her and held her hands. "It is not like I didn't want to, I didn't know how to." He cleared his throat, and Ella couldn't help but smile.

"You must be sleepy." He gently stroked her hair. Ella lay down and he lay beside her. "Trent, can I tell you a secret?" Ella's voice was a little cracked. "Yes, I am all ears" his voice was warm.  "the night of our exam at the old mansion, we were attacked by rogues." Ella's voice cracked. "I heard about it." Trent kept stroking her hair. "I was scared, it was the first time I ever killed someone." She sobbed. "You don't have to feel bad, you did it to protect yourself." "You don't get it." She turned and faced him. "I was hiding in a cupboard during the attack, I didn't have the heart to kill and I was scared. I thought about my reasons for coming here and why I must be brave. Then I heard footsteps and then the door of the cupboard I was hiding in opened, I panicked and shot, I didn't care to check who it was I just shot. And it turned out to be the only person who paid attention to me, I killed an innocent person Trent."  Ella cried, he hugged her and her tears wet his chest. "Is alright baby, it was a mistake." He kissed the middle of her head and patted her back as she cried.

Ella slowly opened her eyes, her eyelid felt heavy. The room was dark and gloomy making it hard to know if it was already morning or if it was still dark. She gritted her teeth as she unhurriedly stood up. Her entire body was hurting as she took baby steps toward the bathroom. She heard the clicking sound of the bedroom door, Trent carefully entered the room, with a large circular silver tray filled with food, the delicious scent of pancakes, pie, and burger wafted in the air, making her stomach growl. Blood rushed to her face, she bit her lips whilst placing her hand on her stomach.

Trent set the tray on the bed and looked at the petite lady who stood there looking at him with her large swollen brown eyes. His lips pulled into a beautiful smile. "Good morning." He greeted her and pulled her into a hug. "Good morning." She laid her head on his chest, she closed her eyes to enjoy the warm hug. "Trent's body tensed up and he pulled away from the hug. "you're burning up." He touched her forehead. "Let's take you back to bed." He held her hand but she didn't budge. He turned and looked at her. "I need to use the bathroom." She said in a very low voice.

Back in the organization, Aurelia organized a team to go into the forbidden forest, Elder Thomas was in charge of the press conference while Romeos was still torturing Richard.

The entire city was in chaos when they heard about Richard's arrest.  His grandfather was inside Elder Romulus's office with his lawyers. Richard's supporters were protesting outside. They want the organization to release him, whilst the people who worked under him were also out there asking the organization to punish him for what he did to them.

Thomas walked over to Aurelia, his long blue robe swept the clean white tiles.  He harrumphed to get her attention since she was talking to two young women. "Let's finish this discussion later." The women bowed before they left. "They want to be reinstated as field agents ever since we revoked the law," Aurelia informed him. "I will let you handle that, my question is why are we still keeping Richard?"  Thomas looked angry.

"The person you should speak to is Romulus. I am also pissed off, but a lot of the high officials and five of our elders said that we should investigate further." Aurelia sighed.  "What is there to investigate, we have a fucking video of him and other rich kids talking about their crimes!" Thomas combed his hair back with his hand. "I believe that we will be able to overrule it tomorrow." Aurelia gave him a reassuring look.

"You mean at the general meeting?"  Aurelia nodded her head. "All the elders, top officials, and workers would be here. After the general meeting, we are going to have all the elders and high officials vote on what to do with Richard. But let's be patient." The scowl on his face relaxed.  "Ok then, I trust you and Romulus." Aurelia smiled sweetly.

Back in Trent's gloomy house with demonic wallpapers. "Trent dialed Doctor Ria's number and she picked on the third ring. "Hello, Trent is the world about to end?"  Trent was impatiently pacing in his living room. "I need you to come over, Ella's body is really hot and she seems to be in pain." He sounded very worried. "Trent, I can't leave, all the people hurt by the rogues are here and need my attention. How about you bring her." There was silence from the other side of the line. "Hello!"  "I am here." "Oh my God!" her phone fell from her hand. She saw Trent holding the flush and confused Ella in his arms. "Please check on her." Ria was stupefied. "Ria!" "Right, take her to the room on the left." The hospital was filled with people, phones were ringing and the pungent smell of medicine was in the air.

Trent used a rag to dap her forehead. "Trent, I am fine, let's go back home." Her voice came out hoarse.  Doctor Ria walked into the ward with the thermostat. She checked her temperature and asked Ella some questions.  "So, what is wrong with her?" Trent asked.  "She has a fever, here's a prescription."  She wrote down the potion Ella needed and gave it to Trent.  "Trent, let's talk outside for a moment." Trent followed her out. "What is it?" Trent asked.

"Ella is worried about something, while I was checking her energy, I felt something different." "Like a kind of light energy in her."  Trent completed her analysis for her. "Well, you should do something to cheer her up," Ria said to him before she strode away.

"What do I do to cheer her up?" Trent said to himself.

His phone vibrated in his pocket, he pulled it out. And clicked on the message from Mila.

Hi Uncle Trent, I am sending this text to you to inform you of my plans with Ella. She promised to take me to a picnic, watch movies and go on a roller -coaster.  So please don't be too clingy and let my dear Ella take me out.

A nerve protruded on his forehead and his eye twitched. Even though he was annoyed by Mila, he just got an idea of how to cheer Ella up thanks to him.
