It felt like pure seduction

Sienna was nervous.

She had never gone on a date with Damon before in all their three years of marriage.

Of course, this was just for show. It was just to demonstrate how good their marriage was so that the Wright stocks didn't fall.

She grew downcast, even now, she was being manipulated like a pawn in someone else's game.

No! She had to take control of the situation! Sucking in a deep breath, her eyes hardened.

If Damon wanted a show, a show was what he was going to get.

She changed out of the dress she had planned to wear and pulled out the emerald satin dress with a plunging neckline that Alison had bought for her.

Carefully, she lined her eyes and darkened her lashes, painted her lips a deep red and put on the Dior earrings she never returned to Vivianne.

When she was finished, she smiled at her reflection.

Sienna Astor was about to show everyone she wasn't a pushover.

Damon couldn't take his eyes off her. No one at the restaurant could.

She was magnetic.

He had no idea how he could ever have believed the rumours that she had grown boring and that she was the less attractive sister out of the two Astor heiresses.

"So, after this we should be good, right?" She asked while shooting him a coy look, one slender hand trailing up his forearm.

To the photographers who had been tipped off and were staking out in their cars opposite the restaurant, it must have looked like pure seduction.

It felt like pure seduction.

"It will depend on the general response to this," Damon struggled to stay in control of himself despite the effect his wife was having on him.

"Hmm, once this settles down, Alison and I can move forward with announcing our ambassador," Sienna smiled warmly at him.

Damon's heart hurt slightly. Sienna had been closed off since their wedding day, what would he have to do to make her smile at him this way for real?

"Remember the debate we had about influence and business growth?" He watched her closely and saw her eyes light up.

"How could I forget? We nearly got kicked out of class because we wouldn't stop." This time, when she smiled, it was a smaller but more genuine smile.

Then it was gone, hidden by the rim of her wine glass, and she was back to the unfamiliar seductress.

But the light remained in her green eyes and the rest of the dinner passed quickly as they revisited old debates and discussed new developments and stances.

The cameras captured them living in their own world, with Damon leaning in close to whisper in Sienna's ear, Sienna laughing brightly at something he said and both their wedding rings glinting proudly in the low light.

"Argh!" Vivianne screeched and threw another ornament at the wall. It shattered and joined the rest in colourful shards on the ground.

"This is so unfair!" Vivianne raged, "I'm the prettier sister, I'm the more popular one. So why does she get to marry Damon Wright and how did she get Jun's attention?"

She let out another yell of frustration, staring at the photos on her screen. One showed Sienna on Jun's motorbike while the other showed Sienna on her date with Damon.

"I deserve the attention," Vivianne growled, "I'm going to take it back, she shouldn't get any, that cow."

Ever since the young master Lachance had politely declined getting to know her better at Grandmother Wright's party, she had been on edge.

She tore up a pillow in anger, letting the feathers and stuffing fly all over the room as she seethed. That man was an idiot, rich, but an idiot.

Anyone could see what a catch she was, but he had looked pale and avoided her eyes as he respectfully but firmly refused the suggestion to get to know her better.

She called up her assistant, "Schedule a meeting with Damon Wright and tell Kyra Davies to hurry up with her plan."

Within hours, she was sauntering down the halls of Wright Enterprises, garnering admiring looks and whispers as she passed by employees.

Proudly, she flicked her glossy red locks. That's right, she thought, this is what a real heiress looks like. Not that plain Jane who married Damon Wright.

She ignored the secretary asking her to wait a moment and burst into Damon's office in a cloud of perfume.

"Miss Astor," His voice was cold, as were his blue eyes, and Vivianne shuddered slightly, "How can I help you?"

He was an imposing figure at his desk, his broad shoulders backlit by the sun and stony expression made him look very intimidating.

Still, Vivianne gathered herself and plastered a simpering smile on her lips, "You should call me Vivianne, there's no need to be so formal."

When he simply looked at her without making any comment, she moved closer and half propped herself on his desk, making sure that the high slit in her skirt exposed her long legs.

"You must be so upset by Sienna," She purred, "That girl is so terrible, to have done something like that in public."

She leaned in close, her sheer top showing off more skin than usual, "I just wanted you to comfort you a little."

Damon calmly capped his pen, stood up and placed his hand near Vivianne's. Her heartbeat sped up, thinking it had worked.

Instead, he pressed the button on his intercom, "Mr Walters, please escort Miss Astor out, we're done for today."

"Thank you for your concern," He addressed Vivianne before tugging her off his desk and rearranging the papers she had messed up, "But Sienna and I are perfectly happy."

"But-" Vivianne got cut off as Damon's secretary dragged her out, "Call me!"

Back in her car, she screamed in rage and hit the headrest in front of her, her poor driver winced.

"Just you wait, Damon Wright," Her lip curled as she pulled out a small, unmarked bottle, "You'll come crawling to me soon enough."

Damon never even knew what hit him lol
