If Kathleen had thought that was all the surprise Pete had up his sleeves for her, then she was in for an even bigger surprise when another delivery man showed up in her office just before lunch, and brought her a well packed plate of food and chilled pulpy orange drink to go with it.
Kathleen couldn't meet the eyes of her colleagues as they all trooped out for lunch, while she sat there looking at the plate of food in front of her. It seemed like the more she tried to get him out of her mind, the more he kept trying to remind her that he was existing. What was she supposed to do if he kept acting this way?
