The stamped deal

Stacy stared at the man intensely and swallowed her tears, "Sir" she thought she heard wrong. "You'll lend me the money?"

"Of course, if you do what I want in return" he added.

Stacy didn't think twice before saying. "I'm ready sir" she wiped her tears.

The man dressed up. "You know I was so ready for this, ready to hit you hard but I guess I'm not the one to take that flower of yours" he gave her a slight grin.

Stacy hushed at his words. He certainly isn't. She was glad he realized that. She meant, wasn't he an old man? He shouldn't be doing this if he's not being voracious. She eyed him as he put on his clothes back.

"Er, put on your gown we are done here, I need another fruit not your type of fruit," he said. Stacy then realized she was still half-naked before this old. . .Old man! She put on her dress and turned to the man but he wasn't there anymore.

Stacy looked around and out the door but found no one. What's this? She thought he wanted to lend her the money. . .This is. . .Her gaze then settled on the drawer by the king-size bed. There was a note on it and it said she should send the amount she needed to the email written. But now she should give her decision a deep thought.

What's there to think about? She scoffed and took her phone, texted the amount to the old man. Outside the hotel was the old man walking gracefully with his hands in his pocket. Then, his secretary informed him of the email he received about a certain about. He didn't turn to stare at his secretary but the young man knew he heard his statement just now, he was used to not receiving a response from his boss.

The old man laughed silently. She was desperate. Which would lead her to desperate trouble, she clearly didn't give it a deep thought. Did she?

The following week, which was the week she was supposed to meet the old man, Mr. Hall at his office. She met the magnificent view of his building which looked like a perfect drawing and was totally made up of glass. She couldn't believe she'd enter a place like this in her whole life.

Stacy talked to the receptionist and was directed to his office. She entered the elevator and up to the 9th floor. Eventually, she got to his office to see the old man swam with work. She greeted him and was led to sit on a couch that was in front of his study. A table was in between the couches. Stacy sat down.

Soon, they began their discussion. He then asked. "Are you sure you are ready for this?" With raised eyebrows suffusing assumptions in Stacy's mind. Was this old man offering her a bad, hard job? Was it even a job?

Stacy nodded, as long as she gets the money to save her Mom. "Yes"

"Alright," the man picked up his phone and did some things. In no time her phone beeped and she received the money. Stacy jubilated and thanked the old man greatly. "Thank you so much sir" she smiled. Her face was evidence of exhilaration.

Then, wait. . .What's she giving in return? Her happiness lost some strength and she threw the old man an askance look. "But sir, what am I giving in return?" She asked causing the man's lips to curl up into a smile she knew was an alert to another bad luck.

"Good question" he took a sip of the tea Mercy brought for the both of them when Stacy arrived. "Well, you see. . .My son, Xander needs a girl in his life. He's not what he seems to be on the outside. He might be complex sometimes and not easy to understand, he might be a loner because he hates company but he needs someone like you." He drank again studying the girl's expression. But she showed that of surprise and disbelief.

"I want you to be his caregiver and I've given you a year advance payment for your monthly salary so you owe me big-time" Mr. Hall informed her. Stacy frowned.

A year! That's too much, so she will be working with a man in his house for a year without receiving a salary? That was totally unacceptable.

"Uh-huh, you can't refund the money, I told you to give it a lot of thought dear. Now we definitely have a stamped deal" he said. "You can't run because I'll find you" he warned her.

Stacy had cold sweat beading her forehead though the AC was on. She had to do it for her Mom. Besides, it's just a year but not receiving any salary every month was too hard. She requested for a little compensation every month at least and the old man agreed as if knowing she needed that.

With that, they had a deal. Stacy was about to leave when. "And yes, you have to always appear sexy in front of my son. That's the main job, so get yourself many sexy hot dresses because you'll be living in his house. So, do that before you resume work tomorrow" Mr. Hall told her.

Stacy was shocked, flabbergasted, dumbstruck, and was left astray. Dress sexy that means she was going to be a. . .No! When she met the man's gaze, she swallowed and forced that smile before leaving.

Stacy immediately paid her mom's bills and told her siblings not to inform Mom how she got the money. Well, they also didn't know the truth. She lied that she applied for a loan which was totally impossible because she doesn't have a stable job but her siblings bought it.

The next day, Stacy packed her bags and left her home, followed the map on her phone to her master's house, she wondered if it was immediately she gets there she'd get used. No. . .No that doesn't make any sense. He wouldn't, would he?
