Chapter 2

....kingdom of ora

King Daren was sitting on his throne looking worried as he exchange greetings with other kings and Queens who came for the feast.

he called one of the guards to go check why princess sedora wasn't yet at the banquet he gestured for the guard Raymond one of his trusted royal guard beside him to come closer the guard obeyed.

"yes your Majesty" Raymond bowed

"call me the princess she was supposed to be here an hour ago. It's her day and everyone is waiting for her " king Daren said

Suddenly he heard someone scream

turned his head in the direction from where he heard the noise.

"Somebody help the princess... They took the princess" Maria screamed in pain with blood all over her arm and dress crying.

King Daren was in shock he ran to where Maria lay down sobbing.

"What happened to you where is sedora?" king Daren asked

He felt his heart burn before he could proceed to ask more questions Maria lost consciousness

"take her to the royal physician and search for sedora what is going on? King Daren panicked

He had to control himself waking towards sedora's room he entered and checked the room while the guards and maids checked around the palace.

king Daren turned to look at one of the guards and yelled

" make sure every dammed gate of the kingdom is locked no one leaves or enter find my daughter now " king Daren said

He looked shocked and confused he didn't know how all this could happen he had no enemies because a was a good and fair king .

as he walked back to his chambers he broke into tears he thought about his dead queen and screamed.

" Sarah I have failed you... My little princess can't be found in the palace Sarah" he cried his eyes out for a while

and when he heard footsteps approaching he quickly cleaned his tears and arranged his collar

he saw five of the palace guards and the general of ORA armies general Xavier

General Xavier walked to where king Daren stood and bowed.

" your Majesty I came as soon as I heard what happened I've sent soldiers to search for the princess. if she was kidnapped like her handmaiden claimed they won't be far off we will find them please be rested assured "general Xavier said looking tensed.

" is the handmaiden awake now I would like to speak with her right now, "king Daren said trying to look strong so as not to show how he really felt, he felt a lump formed in his throat he swallowed.

general Xavier knew how soft-hearted the king was and how much he loved the princess so he could only imagine what king Daren was feeling

" my lord this way... She's awake but weak" said general Xavier as he gestured for the king to follow

they both walked with the other guards to the room Maria lay crying as soon as she saw the king she fell to her knees crying

" you may sit Maria what happened to my daughter I want you to explain to me and general Xavier so we can find her quickly "king Daren demanded

He looked frail and weak trying not to burst into tears in front of his subjects

" my lord...I don't know princess sedora told me this morning that she was looking for an escape route she said she hated prince taxi and didn't want to marry him, and that she knew you would eventually force her to do so she packed all her belongings and left with a man I don't know him but she said she loved him and he's a werewolf My lord I'm sorry I couldn't stop her I tried he even stabbed me in my arm" Maria said

She was crying like a mother who lost a child the king just stood there puzzled

" sedora would never hurt anyone not to talk of you she loves you and I wasn't planning to force Prince taxi on her,Did she tell you where she and the werewolf were going? King Daren asked trying to find answers as to where sedora would be.

"my lord I'm sorry I don't know maybe they are going to the werewolf kingdom she didn't say, I'm sorry my king it's all my fault I should have held onto her more," she said and she fainted .

general Xavier didn't feel convinced by the story Maria told them he walked closer to the king and said

"your Majesty I don't feel convinced about all that the handmaiden said" general Xavier spoke in a low tone .

king Daren looked at him with a raised eyebrow as if in deep thought

"why would you say so general Xavier?" asked king,

"i came earlier to ask her what had happened but she told me the princess was kidnapped by some men it rather strange that she's saying a different thing now," said general Xavier

"i think the girl is traumatized by the incident she has been with princess sedora for years, since sedora was eleven years old she wouldn't do anything to harm sedora," said king Daren with eyes as red as blood.

"My lord I don't mean any harm towards the girl but something about this girl and the story seems off why would she change what she told me it's strange," general Xavier said in a hoarse tone

he was trying to stay calm princess sedora was like a daughter to him and he loved her with all his heart he felt really bad.

"let's go to the courtroom and talk, let's leave the girl to rest but what I don't understand is why would sedora hurt her maid, my daughter would never she's calm and nice," said king Daren as he walked with general Xavier to the courtroom

"my lord...I know the princess would never and if truly she went with a boy to the werewolf realm we should prepare for war, we have to teach those dirty animals to stay in their realms and get the princess from them" general Xavier said

He came to a halt as soon as he heard a loud thud

"help the king has collapsed" he screamed at top of his lungs.

Desert of Motah

Sedora opens her eyes to the sounds of carriages and horses she strained her eyes to look at her surroundings she couldn't comprehend where she was it was all tall trees it looked like a forest.

she raised her head to see that she was in a cage chained to the metal bar cage she saw that she wasn't the only one inside the big cage.

She saw seven Girls one was a little girl who looked not less than the age of nine the little girl looked frailly tired and too slim the girl turned and waved at sedora with the little the strength she had left.

"Please where are we," sedora asked but no one answered.

"hi I'm Clara I'm from the human realm the kingdom of ORA nice to you, we are in the desert of motah heading to the vampire realm," said Clara

she stretched forth her hand for a nice-to-meet-you handshake sedora hesitated but took in the handshake

"I'm princess sedora. Nice to meet you, how far are we from the kingdom of ORA?" sedora asked

she was so confused as what took place in the palace replayed in her head

"oh your Highness you are very far from your kingdom but I will serve you, Do you need tea or cakes? name it I your loyal maid will get it" said one of the girls sitting in the cage in a mocking tone .

Clara hit the girl gently on her lap to stop messing with the new girl.

" don't mind her she usually talks like this but she is kind her name is faith, and it's four days from here to the kingdom of ORA you have been asleep for four days I didn't know you were from ora and how did you get mixed up with these people?" Clara said.

"so I have been sleeping for days? Who are these men on horses I need to go back to the kingdom of ora sedora said.

She was still not believing what was happening to her or where she was Clara stared at her with pity and faith just wasn't interested in any of their conversation she adjusted herself to sit appropriately.

" dear princess once you're here there's no going back seems you still have a lot of energy to daydream," Faith said as she laughed like a mad woman.

one of the slave riders rode his horse to the moving cage he shouted for the rest of the slave crew to halt.

"our princess is awake," he said as he looked at her with no expression on his face.

Sedora was happy that the man in front of her knew she was a princess

"sir you know me right?!!! Yes I'm the princess of ORA please take me back to ORA and my father the sovereign will reward you please I can't be here" sedora said hoping the man would agree.

"oh princess, we have already been paid enough and besides the king will have our heads so shut up I have work to do," He said as if Warning her.

"Please I'll give you anything name it just take me back home I'm not supposed to be here, "sedora said shouting at the man the slave trader laughed so hard that tears came out of his eyes

" you are quite the moron keep your mouth shut slut or do you want my men to do it with a cork in your mouth? "he said as if he was telling the men to get ready.

one of the men licked his lips has he looked at her sedora felt disgusted to the core she wanted to throw up but she couldn't there was nothing on her stomach to pour out.

she was about to speak Clara held her hand and whispered

" don't say a word.... These men are rogue that's the leader he does whatever he says I can assure you don't want a dick in your mouth " she said

She tries to see if the slave traders heard her when she raised her head the man's gaze was on her as if wanting to tear her apart.

" it seems you all have forgotten your manners, maybe I should teach you all some respect right now.

"Announcement everyone until we reach the vampire realm I will be your king so refer to me as my lord understood? " shouted the boss of the slave trade crew.

all the girls in the cage replied in unison" yes my lord" except for sedora who was far in thought they continued their journey in silence and grumbling stomachs.
