My eyes snap up to his, the door swinging open after a polite knock, Travon striding in.

"King Darrell is here and he's looking for you." He informs, barely batting an eyelid at Neruda who is still violating my personal space.

It was so easy to forget how easy it was to just be yourself in the midst of friends who were closer than family when you're being thrown into the adult world of lies, deceit and greed.

"Wonder what he wants?" Neruda mutters to me, stepping back. "Doubt I'll like what he has to say."

I couldn't agree more. "Want me to tag along?"

Neeuda hesitates for a split second, jaw hardening. "You know what? Hell yeah, doubt Arianna is up for chit chat, Dane is outta the question but could you get Cam too." He adds to Travon.

"Sure." The Elf agrees without a second thought. "Lucy and I will be there." He says, sweeping out.

"Darrell probably only wants to talk to you." I say quietly.
