Chapter Ninety-six

♦Travon's POV♦

I decide to clean up first, dropping my robes and flinging my crown to the side, I wouldn't be needing it for another century or so.

I slip on a pair of sweatpants, I had missed the soft and comfortable piece of clothing and I'd pick it any day over formal silk pants.

My hair is still long and lays heavily along my bare back, I had missed the comfortable weight as well and it hid my pointy ears too so I would keep it long.

I gently get in the bed, not wanting to wake Lucy up but she's always been a light sleeper so it's no surprise when she lazily opens an eye then the other, her coffee bown eyes starry.

I stare down at her with awe in my eyes, she's wearing one of my shirts, the white silk contrasting beautifully with her dark skin.

"Hi." I grin at her.

She gives me a soft smile. "Hey."

"Ready to go back home?" I ask her with a twinkle in my eyes. "We have exams anyway."
