Chapter Fifty-nine

♦Dane's POV♦

I wonder what exactly I'm supposed to say to Cyril, it's one thing deceiving September who probably didn't know the extent of a Witch's power but it was another thing to try to call bluff with Cyril, another risky thing.

"I um, I'm teasing September, I've been practicing my illusionary capabilities." Arianna quickly says and I can almost kiss her, I'm not sure why she's also hiding it from Cyril because I don't remember asking her to but I'm so relieved and grateful that she decided to follow her gut.

"Oh." Cyril murmurs, he's in knee-length shorts and a sleeveless top and I wonder if he wasn't going to swim as well. "Well, we better tell her before she goes too deep in the water." 

I'm already moving before he can get all of his words out, quick to dive into the ocean to go cajole September out or at least to the shallow part of the water.
