Zhuang Yuezhou looked into the distance, where the tall buildings all came into view. He gazed far away, his eyes distant and unfocused.

"Xiaoqiao, you and your brother have ruined my plans. Tell me, how should we settle this account?"

Weilan was taken aback, replying disdainfully, "Ruined your plans? You never even told me what your plans were; how could I ruin them? It must be that you're incompetent, yet you're pretty good at blaming others."

Zhuang Yuezhou, mocked by her sarcasm, chuckled and said, "Xiaoqiao, your mouth is really venomous, enough to make a person choke."

"I haven't seen it choke you to death though," Weilan retorted.

The way they bickered was harsh, yet there was no dislike in their eyes.

Finally, with a small laugh, Weilan asked, "I just want to ask you, what exactly is going on between you and my brother?"

"You should ask your brother about that," Zhuang Yuezhou made it clear he didn't want to talk about it.
