Abay was on a soft, round bed, like a coiled snake with the snake's head covering the mattress.

Nyi Malini sat on the edge of the bed with her hands gently stroking Abay's calves.

"Did you understand the conditions I put forward earlier?" Nyi Malini's fingers ran along the shin of Abay's right leg until they stopped at the knee.

Abay nodded, but his feet continued to walk.

Abay screamed, because a gust of wind hit his body, making him float like a dry leaf in the wind.

Abay felt cold and wet on his cheeks. When he opened his eyes, he suddenly jumped up and ran like a madman.

It turned out that the cold and wet air came from the snake's tongue which was licking Abay's left cheek. A large snake with black scales as big as a calf.

But the road was dark and Abay fell down several times, sometimes his feet tripped on roots and sometimes he kicked rocks. But his soul was more important than the pain he was suffering right now.

Abay was afraid that the snake would chase him. He was so afraid of being bitten by a snake that he forgot to bring the bundle of firewood he had collected. He also forgot one thing, that the previous afternoon he met a snake that took him to another world, the snake kingdom led by Nyi Malini on the orders of Ratu Agung.

Who the Great Queen is, Abay doesn't know.

Abay has arrived at his house which is near the forest boundary and remote. Without needing to say hello, he charged into his dark house.

Leaning against the closed door, Abay took a deep breath. He tried to calm his heart and also revive his energy, which he had wasted a lot when he ran away.

Abay's feet moved towards his room, a room that was already cold because he was the only occupant. Endah has left her house with Dina, a cute little baby. Even though Dina is not his biological child.

Abay stood dumbly in front of the bedroom door. His ears clearly heard a voice calling his name, coming from inside the room. But there was no one, not even a shadow could be seen.

However, on the bed, Abay saw a small box. He quickly hunted down and took the box engraved with a snake.

"What is this box? Is it from Nyi Malini?" Abay asked himself.

Curious to know what was inside the box, Abay opened the box and found a pill the size of a red longan seed and emitting a fresh, fragrant smell.

By just smelling the fragrance of the pills, Abay felt his body become refreshed. Under the pill you can see there is a folded piece of paper.

Abay ignored the red pill for a moment. He took the paper which he guessed was a letter. He closed the box, then put it on the bed again. After that, the folded paper was opened.

My husband. I gave you medicine to increase energy and also have the effect of expelling poison so that you can live a long life. I shouldn't have given it to you, just let you die quickly and become a slave in my kingdom. But you are my first husband, although not my last.
