Sick and still working

Magret hardly talked nowadays since she haven't heard from Dominic since they last talked not like she was bothered but she cared if he would help or not.

Her plans were not moving smoothing for her at all making this difficult for her to do.She picked up her phone as she made a call before she ended it.

Why was everyone failing her all of a sudden even that her daughter, Magret was lost in her own thoughts that she didn't notice her daughter was already in the room with her until she spoke.

"What are you thinking about mother,"Natasha looked at her mother who was so lost in thought when she entered.

However, Magret ignore her question as she said in a stern tone which Natasha flinched."You should be careful while you go outside since the company bankrupt is till on,"

"I know mother I just went out to clear my head."She paused as she looked at her mother's face deviod of emotion."A lot of things have been happening lately that I found it hard to think."

"You should take a rest then to calm your nerve,"She nodded as she wanted to ask her about Bethany she wasn't sure how her mother would react if she talked.

But she still couldn't let it slide they had to find Bethany now."Any news concerning Bethany,"

Magret body stilled as she turn to look at Natasha who moved back a little due to fear as she looked at her mother's scary eyes.

The aura Magret possessed now was so scary and domineering that she herself was suddenly scared of been near her.Was the topic that sensitive that made her react that way that what was that.

Magret couldn't believe this daughter of hers had the guts to talk about Bethany in her presence what was she thinking."Get out!"

What? She should get out for what just because she asked about Bethany."For what,"

"How... For the last time Natasha get out! And I mean it now!"She commanded that Natasha couldn't help but comply with her it felt strange to.

When she left Magret gritted her teeth as she clenched her fists, her voice was full with wicked instinct and her eyes were full with hatred."This time Bethany I'll make sure you die a miserable death just you wait."

Maya dropped by at Isaac's place she came here once and now she was here.She wanted to pay him for his kindness for saving her that but her question that was laced on her mind was how did he know she was there.

She would ask him but for now she put those thoughts behind as she pressed the doorbell but got no response.What was he doing wasn't he at home she wanted to press the door bell when the door opened and the pale face of Issac greeted her.

"You look pale and tired,"She said as he nodded while she entered inside once again."Is everything okay,"

She was worried and concerned he looked at her before he could speak she touched his neck to feel his temperature."Oh my you caught a fever."

"It's nothing,"He didn't spare her a glance any longer instead he walked to the sitting room where his laptop was kept with some papers.

He massaged his forehead he was really having a headache but nevertheless that didn't bother him at all.Not far from there Maya stood keenly observing him she couldn't believe he was still working his ass up like seriously.

Was a kind of supernatural being or what, she dropped her bag as she walked to where he was she squatted down he was taken back by her action when she took the laptop from him and shut it down.

"Hey have you lost it!"He wanted to raise his voice up but it came back weak she rolled her eyes as she stood up he was busy observing what her next move would be.

"Your ill and your still working are you some kind of immortal being,"She asked but got no response from him."You need to rest you know,"

He groaned as he stood up leaving her alone in the sitting room, right now Maya felt like punching that jerk but she couldn't just let him be all alone with that she followed him.

Hearing her footsteps he still didn't say a word as he entered his room lying on the bed completely ignoring her presence making her fume in anger.

Maya wanted to really punch him in the face but seeing his condition she let it slide, he was quite burning up as she touched him his forehead was ceased with sweat.

"I'll be right back,"One thing she knew was that his condition was getting more worse, she came back with a small bowl and a wash cloth.

She was going to give him a sponge bath then they was a tinny problem"Uhm... Could you take off your shirt I want to give you a sponge bath."

His voice came as a whisper."You can take it off yourself,"

"Ok,"She took off his shirt leaving his upper body bare she gulped when she saw his muscular body, her face was red immediately.

His muscles looked so.... Geez Maya snap out of it.She began to give him the sponge bath but immediately her hands touched his skin she felt sparks.

She looked up only to see his eyes closed his body was to die for, so bulit she had the urge to touch him all over especially those hard muscles.

She had to get this sponge bath over with but his body alone was a big distraction for her, she turned her face as she bit her lips as she started to give him the sponge bath.

Having done that she left him in the room to rest, as she left Issac eyes snapped opened with a half smirk on his lips.
