Introduction

Scarlet was walking to school with her friends, Dave and Layla. Dave and Layla were 16, Scarlet was 15. Scarlet is pretty chill, not popular, and she has average grades. Dave is the captain of a football team, girls love him, has a crush on Layla, and has a very rich family. Layla is very smart, popular, has two different eye color, and is abused by her stepmother. When they made it to school, three bullies came up to them. The leader was Valarie. Her sidekicks were Katie and Macy.

"Hey losers," said Valarie "Tonight we have a huge and rich party. We just wanted to let you know that you're invited." Scarlet and her friends looked at each other. Layla looked at Valarie and asked, "Why us?" Valarie just ignored the question and gave them invitation cards. The three bullies walked away from them and went to invite others. Scarlet just shrugged it off and went to her locker. Dave and Layla parted with Scarlet and went to their class. Scarlet walked to the classroom and noticed other students talking about a new classmate. She also noticed a new seat and a desk right next to her. Soon, the teacher came in and told everyone to be seated. "Today, as most of you know, we have a new student. Please give him a warm welcome. You may come and introduce yourself now." A boy walked in with a strange scent that Scarlet is familiar with. "Greetings," said the new student, "My name is Felix." Felix stared at Scarlet. Scarlet then knew exactly why he smelled familiar. She knew things were about to get interested.
