There Is Always A Reason
Once Aviana explained to her brother everything that happened recently, including Evan's biological father; it was silence that occupied the apartment. Even when she looked at her brother, Aviana struggled to know what was on his mind.
"Are you angry?" She asked Austin when the silence consumed her little patience. "I know I should have told you everything sooner."
"Then why don't you do?" Austin suddenly asked.
Slightly raising a brow, Aviana Valos promptly said, "I couldn't find a good time." Meeting her brother's gaze, she continued, "It might seem like an excuse but... it's not easy to just spat everything out while we both have so little time to spare."
Austin Valos quietly stared at his younger sister for a while more and then let out a soft sigh. "I'm sorry, Ava. I should have paid more attention to you given that we left the mansion."
"You know that's not my point, Auz," Aviana calmly said and Austin Valos nodded his head.
