One Of The Reasons
For a couple of seconds, all Aviana Valos did was gaze at the amusing yet victorious smile on Evan's face.
They just entered a new chapter in their relationship but he talked about marriage with such confidence. She wondered if he was just shameless or if he was that confident in his feelings for her. After a while, she concluded that it was both.
He had quietly liked her for two years after all.
"Are you scared that I would run away if you don't tie me down soon?" She jokingly asked him instead of voicing her thoughts. Even then, Evan Livares still nodded without hesitation.
"That's one of the reasons," he simply said but before he could say more, the door was opened and Mrs. Valos appeared.
"Follow me," the mother said to them with a bright smile on her face. "Dinner is ready."
With that said, Evan and Aviana promptly rose from their seats and followed the mother out of the room.
