A short little intro

Our story begins in a city known as Ville Falls, basic I know but that's all the thought the author's willing to spend on anything that isn't directly related to the main couple.

Our Main male lead is the epitome of perfection, he's good at basically everything. He can play any sport, he works out daily, he can play the guitar, he can draw at a professional level, he's at the top of academics in the university, and luck seems to be one of his personality traits (guess it was just written into him since he's the main but still, how is that even possible?). In terms of his love life, well he's never shied away from approaching people or being approached. So, he's already experienced all the different versions of love and all the repercussions that come along with it.

He's also got a name that the author took time to pay attention to and make unique, Ares.

Now I know you're probably thinking among the lines that 'why do you sound like the antagonist or hater of the first-male lead,' you're technically not wrong. Since there are times when the antagonist, or first-male lead hater, will be the second male lead, I'm here to tell you that you couldn't be more wrong. The fool is my best friend and we've been through thick and thin.

I know right, how do you like them apples? Imagine being the second male lead to your best friend, and not even any best friend but a friend you've known forever. Color me impressed, I didn't think life could make any more of a joke of me and it did, so. There ya go, now you understand what makes this situation even worse!

Anyways, our female lead is none other than the only one who can match (even outranks) our male lead! She's the most outgoing and social person I've ever known. She's friends with the entire school and even her place is known as a hangout spot for people who just need to talk or just wanna vibe. She's got a great fashion sense as well, she can go from wearing top designer brands one day to keeping it casual the next to look like she's dressing for an award ceremony. She's not only popular and beautiful but also at the top of the dean's list for academics, everyone gets along with her, regardless of background.

She comes from a wealthy and good family background, having traveled all over the world and being originally from Europe, she had a lot of options for schools to pick from. After all, she had just been studying abroad in Singapore for high school. She was, after all, accepted to every school she applied to (all best of the bests as you can probably suspect), but chose our school simply because it's where her parents attended. Needless to say, her presence here was very surprising. I mean, it's not exactly like our school is world-renowned. Oh and surprise, another unique name: Violet.

Of course, as per her personality and the way this story is supposed to go I also happen to be friends with her, because who isn't at my school, am I right?

What makes me so salty about their names you ask? Well if it wasn't for that other side characters had their names before mine! Doesn't answer the question, how about the fact that the author's been dragging this out to come up with a name, answer your question yet?!

But anyway my name is Dick and I'm the second male lead… yes, I know a great name, so to avoid my image falling even more than it already is: I'll be sticking to the nickname D for now. Not really any better when you consider my name but close enough.

The story takes place at Rock university. For legal reasons and simply because I don't want to let you know which one it is, I will only be referring to this university using an alias. This takes place in our sophomore year halfway through the first semester, the fall semester.

Our friend Ares has already been in two relationships since we began school up to now. Shocking, I know.

It'll start with how we first all met. Well, I guess I should correct myself and say how "They" originally met. Since, I, being the second male lead, happened to be running late, since I coincidentally overslept and was left out of the initial meeting event. I still was included at the end. But, who could've seen that coming… Am I right?
