Chapter 9: Fixing Her Poor Commoner Mentality

Loraine awoke brimming with energy. After all, today begins her adventure!

'Hehe. I wonder how Mr. Hansen prepared everything,' Loraine wondered as she dressed up.

Today was the beginning of her travel plans. And she was already filled with excitement just at the thought of being able to go on a vacation as she pleased.

Yesterday's hours of work were a thing of the past.

Lorraine had bright eyes as she readily went to the dining room to eat her breakfast.

After Loraine ate breakfast, Mr. Hansen said, "Miss Loraine, Mrs. Sarah is already waiting for you."

"Oh, she's already back? I thought she'd be gone for at least a month?"

Mrs. Sarah was Loraine's life assistant. She was twenty-eight years old and was very capable. 

Everything about the former Loraine's schedule was arranged by Sarah and even now as they speak, Sarah may be organizing Loraine's schedule and itinerary for the tour. 

Sarah was an excellent assistant who could do or arrange all of the bothersome things that the former Loraine didn't want to bother with.

"Yes, Miss Loraine, she is in the living room," Mr. Hansen informed.

Loraine hurriedly walked to the living room, excited to meet the one person the original owner of this body held much dearer than the others.

Mrs. Sarah was held in high regard by the original owner since Sarah treated her so much better than the others.

Thus, in turn, Sarah was the only one whom Miss Antares treated better than the other workers and treated her as a friend. 

Thus, when Sarah applied for a leave because of her sick five-year-old daughter, Miss Antares readily agreed for her to have a one-month leave.

"Sarah, why did you come back so early? Is your daughter feeling better already?" Loraine inquired as soon as she saw her assistant.

Sarah was pretty and looked like a reliable person just like the memories from Miss Antares.

"Yes, she is already feeling better. 

My husband is taking care of her now." 

Sarah's daughter became ill unexpectedly, so she took a leave of absence. 

She was extremely grateful to Miss Loraine for allowing her a long leave without many questions. 

Unlike other wealthy ladies, Miss Loraine was easy to get along with. So, after four years of working for her, Sarah was a little closer to her.

"Oh, so your husband took a leave of absence as well?" Loraine inquired.

That was quite sweet and responsible of him. It was nice to know Sarah had a good husband.

"Yes. There is no other way. My daughter prefers her father more than me," Sarah chuckled.

Because her daughter was clamoring for her father, his husband took a three-day leave from work as well. 

With her husband taking care of their daughter, Sarah was rest assured. Their daughter also felt much better. 

Thus, Sarah immediately went back to work since they also needed to maintain their stable finances for their daughter's sake.

"Mr. Hansen has already prepared for your trip. 

Where will you go this time?" 

Sarah was already accustomed to Miss Loraine suddenly going out whenever she pleased. As her assistant, Sarah usually tagged along and was able to visit different places.

"It's just in our country. I'd like to go see the great falls and spend some time at Mount Kang."

Loraine had browsed about a lot of places for choices of where she would go first.

Since she wanted to relax in a place close to nature, she chose Mount Kang. 

They have a forest as part of their estate in several properties, but Mount Kang is known for its beautiful scenery and rejuvenating environment.

Thus, Loraine decided to go there first.

Back in her old world, she wanted to go on a hike several times but didn't have the chance because she was too busy.

She would do it first thing now that she had the chance.

"That's a nice place. 

I'll purchase a house for you there. How many days are we going to stay there?" Sarah said nonchalantly.

'Buy?! Shouldn't we just rent a place or book accommodation?!' 

Loraine was utterly shocked by Sarah's words. Her commoner mentality was kicking in. She would have gawked if she was in her old world, but she pretended to be perfectly calm outside since Sarah said it like it was nothing.

It was a common scenario for Sarah when Miss Antares traveled.

'Right, Miss Antares is the daughter of a multibillionaire. She's an extremely pampered lady and now I'm living her life. This is nothing to her.' 

Loraine reminded herself not to be shocked about matters like this nor show it on her face in case she still gets surprised.

She needed to tune in her logic and actions to that of a rich heiress she was now or else they would notice she was acting weird.

"I want to stay there for fifteen or twenty days," Loraine finally replied. 

She was still unsure of her return date. She intended to stay a little longer if it was truly beautiful and relaxing over there.

"I see. We don't need to contact your designers then, for additional clothing. The number reported by Mr. Hansen should be enough," Sarah nodded her head.

'Huh?! Get designer clothes for going to the mountains? No, no, no. There is definitely no need at all,' Loraine wanted to say.

But then again, all the clothes in her closet were designer clothes, even the simplest ones.

"As for security, I'll just send a message through BB. 

Mr. Mo should let some people under him inspect the place first," Sarah wrote a note on her pad and sent a message to BB. She was already working while talking.

Mr. Mo was the leader of Loraine's guards. He was in charge of her security.

Loraine sighed as she looked at the busy Sarah in front of her. It was great to be wealthy because you can always have someone do things for you.

She truly didn't need to work hard in this life, did she?

Sarah and Mr. Hansen took care of all the preparations.

Loraine only needed to bring herself.
