Chapter 12: The Final Boss?

Another morning in Fraxinus, everyone is busy on their stations while Kotori, Kyouhei and Reine are discussing their future plan after their success of sealing spirit Princess that is now named as Tohka.

Suddenly a mysterious looking lamp appear inside the bridge. Before they could prepare for an attack, Ray appear along with 2 girls that have presence like spirit.

"Mother, I'm back as promised."

"Ray!?"

"Yes yes, your hard working son brought back 2 spirits just for you."

Ray then raised his head proudly while expecting a praise from Kotori.

"O.. oh, good job Ray." Kotori gave Ray his praise while being flabbergasted by the appearance of two spirits, her job are technically half done since almost half of the spirits are gathered here.

"Anyway, let me introduce everyone."

"The one look like nun is Nia Honjou, her angel is Rasiel while the… other one is Kurumi Tokisaki, her angel is Zapfkiel."

"The red twintail here is Kotori, one that was appointed by Ratatoskr to manage the sealing of spirits. She is also a spirit, her angel is Efreet."

"If you want Shido to seal Kurumi I don't mind but Nia here is off limit. Anyway, I will be around the city to do something urgent."

Ray then disappeared using his spatial manipulation, leaving the whole bridge silent. Especially after Ray put his claim on Nia which caused her to blush before lashing out but Ray already disappeared.

On the bustling Tengu City, Ray lands on the location where spirit Hermit or Yoshino will appear.

He sensed multiple wizards hidden around the building. What's worrying is that the wizards belong to DEM and are led by Ellen.

Ray wonders if this retaliation is due to the private island incident which is very unlikely since he makes sure to cover Kurumi and his track during the attack.

The next possible reason is transmigrator. They were up to something and Ray also confirmed using Cosmic Guidance that the last target for his main quest is a transmigrator.

Ray walks around the area while using his sensing Haki to find out the number of wizards and their location. Ray also did not forget to put an illusion to hide his face.

"Hmn… their number exceeds a hundred? Isaac probably deployed every single wizard for this.' Ray mumble as he keeps finding more wizards.

"Oh, Ray. Fancy to meet you here." Suddenly someone called Ray.

He turns back to see Scáthach wearing a casual outfit instead of her usual black bodysuit. She wears a loose long sleeve shirt with a miniskirt and black tights.

If Ray didn't know her other self, he might see Scáthach as a harmless beautiful big sister living in the neighborhood which is in direct contrast to her real identity as the Warrior Queen Scáthach.

Scáthach noticed that Ray was in a daze as he looked at her current appearance. The usual her would at least scold him or give him a lesson but strangely she didn't feel bothered and felt natural instead.

"Ray… Ray!" She shakes Ray a little which is effective as he immediately regains his focus and looks at Scáthach.

"Oh… Scáthach, what are you doing here?"

"An outing alone after a certain master of mine that keeps forgetting to bring me along." Scáthach huffed before she sighed.

"I don't blame you Ray, this world is too peaceful and I have nothing to entertain myself after the aliens stop invading."

"If I don't keep myself occupied with something, I might go crazy. Luckily I found this group of wizards up to something and with their numbers, a battle bound to happen anytime."

"Is it okay to talk in public like this?" Ray points out since they are talking about sensitive information in a busy street where people are everywhere.

"Don't worry Ray, I have runes that turn our words into gibberish or inaudible." Scáthach point at the floating almost invisible runes.

"Ok then, I wanted to set up a teleportation magic to send all the wizards into my subspace using Widen [Delay Magic: Dimension Shift]."

"Not a bad tactic, master. It will cause confusion and disarray to the enemies while giving yourself terrain advantage."

"Indeed, however I need to an marker or grasp on their location to drag them into the subspace."

"I tried to put a strand of my willpower to mark the enemies outside of my sensing Haki range."

"You got the situation under your control then." Scáthach stated.

Ray shakes his head before resuming to walk and followed by Scáthach.

"Not really, the wizards are too widely spread that the spell can only teleport the majority of them. Few stragglers will left behind unless I add Widen Magic which is impossible since my current limit is two Meta Magic per spell or I will suffer backlash."

Well the backlash at most will be stunned or confused. The backlash is lighter when compared to the magic ritual where he is out for a few hours and has exhaustion even after waking up. His body is holding together due to the constant Cosmic and Moon energy that passively fix his body.

"Then leave the stragglers to me, my spear is thirsting for some action."

Scáthach looks at Ray, hoping he will allow her to get wild on the wizards but her hopes are crushed.

"You cannot kill them. Better let me add them to my growing army of summons than killing them."

"Your army of summons or army of beautiful girls?" She retorted while crossing her arm and halted to stare at Ray who avoided her gaze while sheepishly scratching his head.

"I'm not disagreeing about you having a harem but there is a difference between loving your harem and 'collecting' your harem."

"Even if you enslaved them, remember that they are still living beings that deserve a life. Especially those brainwashed girls turn wizards you have been adding to your forces."

Scáthach reprimand Ray with her stern face before rubbing his head and give him an encouragement.

"Don't worry master, I know that you see the world differently from normal people which is why your morals are quite skewed to simply put it. But I'm here to correct you, that's why you summoned me in the first place right?"

"Yes, Shishou!" Ray replied excitedly.

"Hmn… speaking of it, I realized that we barely have any time to do fighting lessons since you are always busy doing something…"

"Ahem! Anyway, Scáthach… I will continue my task to mark the wizards. See you later." Ray then quickly vanished amongst the crowd while Scáthach covered her mouth and laugh before walking away to continue scouting.

During the afternoon, the spacequake alarm went off causing the whole city to quickly evacuate into the bunkers and protection facility.

However there are hundreds of people hiding amongst the building where Ray and Scáthach scouted earlier.

And, speaking of Ray and Scáthach, they were also amongst the people hiding but for a different reason.

After a while, an explosion went off that caused a shallow crater from on the street that caused the hiding wizards to spring up to start their attack on the spirit that created the crater.

Before the wizards were able to dish out any attack, Ray activated the [Dimension Shift] he put in advance using Delay Magic.

The wizards around him instantly vanished in a blink of an eye without leaving any trace. The disappearance caused panic to the wizards that didn't teleport away and Ellen who supervised the attack from a tall building.

"What just happened…" Ellen exclaimed in great disbelief as almost two third of the wizards she brought suddenly vanished before they could attack.

Since Ray and Scáthach are still hidden in the building, Ellen assumes it's the spirit that caused the wizards to vanish.

While the chaos ensued, Ray told Scáthach to engage with Ellen and the wizards along with Tsukuyomi while he will follow Hermit to make a contract with her somehow.

When they split up, Ray sneaked along the buildings to hide from Ellen and the wizards' sight before he pursued Hermit into a storage building where Shido met her in the canon timeline.

"Please, don't come any… closer please…"

The Hermit called out as she can already feel Ray's presence since he deliberately unleashes it when he is far away from the DEM wizards.

"Please let me go… don't hurt me…" Hermit continues to persuade Ray timidly before he remembers something crucial to this situation that he completely forgot.

Hermit or Yoshino lost the puppet, Yoshinon and she is finding it. Shido is supposed to have it after his encounter with her during the rainy day in the park but due to Ray changing the plot, the puppet is still lost somewhere.

Then he looks at Yoshino again who is on the verge of tears while looking at Ray terrified.

"Err… I'm not here to hurt you Yoshino. As you can feel, I'm also a spirit and I'm here to help you find Yoshinon"

When Ray said he is going to help her find Yoshinon, her tears instantly vanished and she became less afraid. If Ray is trying to kidnap her, he would be able to easily do it since she is quite easily trusting him.

"But before I help you find Yoshinon, I want you to listen to what I'm about to say first. I will immediately help you get Yoshinon back after you hear me out"

Yoshino unhesitatingly nodded which made Ray feel like he took advantage of Yoshino vulnerability but he ignored it and proceeded.

"You're aware that the people from before keep hunting you and trying to kill you right?"

Yoshino nodded while confused by the unexpected question.

"So… I have an ability to help you stay hidden from their senses. The ability allows me to also control your unstable power and stop you from triggering a spacequake."

When Ray finishes talking, Yoshino is considering his offer but suddenly stops and looks at him.

"Can you really… do it?" Yoshino, who had doubts, asked Ray.

"Yes, how do you think I hide my presence as a spirit. I also meet 3 other spirits that are capable of hiding their presence."

"Oh I forgot… here you go." Ray then uses spatial manipulation to make the puppet appear in his hand after pinpoint the exact location using Cosmic Guidance.

Yoshino's eyes brighten before she quickly grabs Yoshinon but not forget to give an almost silent thanks to Ray.

"Fuahh, I'm back." The puppet made a stretch like someone that just woke up in the morning.

"Oh, thank you mister for saving Yoshinon. I was really grateful for reuniting me and Yoshino again." The puppet called Yoshinon then bowed a bit while thanking Ray.

"Nothing to be thankful of, I promised Yoshino to find you if she lent her ears to my offer."

"Offer? Oh… you offer to help us from the people that keep trying to kill us but… how can we trust you?"

"Hmn… As I said, I myself am a spirit and I know other 4 spirits other than you currently. Also I have a task to save you from Isaac who wants to weaponise the spirits' power."

"He wanted to steal the spirits' power?" Yoshinon exclaimed in shock.

"Isaac is the leader of the group just now that tried to attack you unlike the AST that used to pursue you. The people just now are part of the DEM that is controlled by Isaac."

"He almost succeeded to steal a spirit power which I managed to stop when I saved the spirit along with another spirit that joined me."

Ray tried to paint himself as a hero since Yoshino does have a fascination with people she considers as heroes.

"My my, doesn't that mean mister is a hero that saves spirits from the evil clutch of the guy named Isaac ?"

"Yes, it is my task after all to save the spirits, I came from the future to prevent Isaac from obtaining spirits' power and causing destruction."

"Wait, mister came from the future?" Yoshinon quickly asked Ray.

"Yes, my abilities are similar to the spirits' power since I was created from their power. The cumulation of all the spirits' power."

"That's why I can do this."

Ray then uses Hydrokinesis and Cyrokinesis to manipulate water and ice into creating a mini rain and show which cause both Yoshino and Yoshinon to be surprised and gaped at the scene.

"Mister have power like Yoshino?"

The puppet and Yoshino are confused since they can feel the power that controls the water and ice but the magic signature is different from her angel that enables her to use the power.

"So, will you accept my offer?

Yoshinon noticed the hurry in his voice which made it suspicious of Ray but suddenly the wall burst open by an explosive before a figure dashed toward her.

"Shit"

Ray remembered that he left Tsukuyomi with Scáthach and he doesn't have the ability to deploy defensive plates. He quickly positions himself in front of Yoshino while summoning Artemis to his hand to shield him from the incoming attack.

The explosion created a veil of dust that covered their vision but Ray was able to see the incoming energy sword that he blocked using Artemis.

Without letting Ray react, the attacker then whipped out a laser cannon to shoot at Ray's shoulder.

He cannot dodge the attack since he is protecting Yoshino who is still stunned behind him. He can see the cannon charged up and ready to shoot in slow motion. Without hesitation anymore, he jumps slightly and lets the laser hit his chest area which is protected by Prototype Aegis 3.

The attacker are shocked when Ray takes the attack with his body, even more shocked when the laser simply has no effect. The Hunter attire is unscathed from the laser beam which is illogical for her.

The laser can even penetrate a CR suit, much less a clothes that have no defensive properties against a laser. The attacker are confused and… afraid of Ray.

"You are the unknown spirit that appeared a few days ago…"

Upon hearing her voice, Ray immediately recognises the attacker who is Ellen Mira Mathers, the current strongest wizard and his main priority to capture.

Ray wanted to capture Ellen and convert her to his side to effectively crippling Isaac power and obtain a leader to lead his wizards.

"I didn't expect Isaac would send the strongest dog to hunt a spirit. Although, I don't feel that you are strongest at all compared to Elliot in his peak."

Ray continuously taunts Ellen which successfully anger her when Ray calls her weak.

By a spur of anger, Ellen release her sword from Ray blocking, she swiftly go for a stab while smirking like she achieved a victory while unaware that it did nothing again.

The energy sword stabbed his chest area which is protected by the armor. The attack from the weak energy sword will never penetrate its defence since it is rated to defend against silver rank attacks like Scáthach's Gae Bolg.

Surprised again when her sword failed to damage Ray, she fell back a bit before reassessing Ray.

When Ellen retreated slightly and gave him some breathing space, he quickly activated his Haki to coat his right arm but stopped before coating Artemis. Then he summoned Ikaros in her pistol form that looks like Revenant from DMC but white and pink in colour to match Ikaros' colour theme. The barrel has 2 rotating magic circles that add fantasy touch to the gun and imbues effect to the bullet.

Since this is Ikaros' first debut as his weapon, Ray wanted to focus on her only for this battle.

While Ray is planning his next move, Ellen is surprised by the pistol's sudden appearance. From previous reports of their people on Ray's stated that he has 2 angels which are the sword and flying knives but now he has another one in the form of a pistol…

She is sure that the pistol is an angel since she can feel the spiritual power from it that his sword also has. Now that Ray has another weapon, she isn't sure of her victory… begrudgingly she has to admit.

When Ray blocked her first attack, she can feel that Ray effortlessly did it which she would never admit since she is obsessed with being the strongest. She will not admit that this spirit is stronger than herself.

"Before we fight, I wanted to ask you something."

"What, are you going to beg for my mercy?" She smirks while putting on a false bravado to taunt Ray back.

Ray, who knew she was bluffing, simply shook his head.

"No, I wanted to ask if this capture was Isaac's order."

"How did you…, Hmph yes it's his order." She was shocked when Ray knew about Isaac but she quickly regained her composure before answering Ray.

"Then, did you notice something about him that changed suddenly?"

"..."

Now that Ray points it out, she does notice something strange about Isaac. Exactly 2 days ago, Isaac's behaviour suddenly changed.

Isaac would usually be planning or conducting some sort of task to achieve his goal of harnessing spirits' power but he suddenly changed his behaviour which she assumed to be an important discovery or success in one of his experiments.

Yesterday, Isaac suddenly asks about Shido's progress on sealing the spirit Princess and declares that today another spirit named Hermit will appear here.

Ellen naturally is skeptical about the information and order from Isaac to capture the spirit, he even mobilizes all available wizards they can muster to capture the spirit.

"Then he does suddenly changed…" Ray stated before nodding to himself causing Ellen some confusion and questions.

"You know what changed him suddenly don't you, answer me." She raised her energy sword to demand answers from Ray habitually while conveniently forgetting that just now, she was afraid of Ray's strength.

Ray then explains how Isaac is a different person but hides the fact that Isaac is probably a transmigrator. He did this because it would benefit him and make Ellen lose her faith in Isaac although it doesn't matter since he will switch her to his side anyway.

"That's…"

"Impossible? I don't think so with how much mess he created since the creation of the first spirit. Perhaps it's his karma to get his body stolen."

"Maybe some god fed up with him and let this happen"

Well it is a doing of a being similar to god that allows the transmigration to happen in the first place. The common 'a guy meets ROB' situation.

"Knowing all this, will you still fight for him?" Ray secretly wishes in his heart that she is willing to defect.

Ellen is surprised and conflicted since she is basically abandoned and alone without an ally if Isaac truly is another person now. Without her knowing, her internal turmoil caused her mental defence and willpower to take a blow which made it easier for Ray to subdue her later.

Ray wanted this to happen because the [Dominate] skill will definitely enthrall or enslave the target but if they resist too much, their ability will decline and become mere mindless puppet. This will defeat the whole purpose of capturing her in the first place.

Ellen, although prideful and obsessed with being the strongest wizard, her actual ability without CR suit is… weak, very weak that she is nothing more than a beautiful trophy. Thus having her as a mindless puppet is like having a meat bag that is no different than a civilian in combat power.

Although Ray wouldn't oppose simply having her as a… ahem, a 'bed warmer' but he have plenty other options out there to select from.

Her main strength is her strong compatibility with 'Territory', an ability to visualise and impose the said imagination on the real world. She can even use her ability without a CR suit if she concentrates enough, which is no doubt a perk of being a pure Magus.

For that reason, it would simply be a waste if she becomes a mindless puppet since she will basically lose all that ability unlike the previously captured wizards that have been modified to use Realizer better where their bodies are changed and added devices to use 'Territory' better.

"So, what will you do now?" Ray again pressured her into making her decision.

Ellen is shaking slightly as her grip on her energy sword weakens. However as expected from her battle hungry and prideful personality, she recompose herself before straightening her posture before stare straight at Ray.

"Regardless of what happened to Isaac, it doesn't matter what my decisions are. Those mindless chatter is for the weak, if you want to negotiate with me then defeat me first."

"Do you think I cannot see your attempt to goad me into defecting?"

She then made a wide bloodthirsty grin before charging at Ray using her energy sword which Ray blocked easily but she suddenly made another one appear and managed to slash Ray's thighs. Almost lost his dick to this madwoman that made him have cold sweat.

While the confrontation was occurring, Yoshino was hiding away and tried to flee if the situation was bad but she didn't know that Scáthach was stalking all three of them.

Scáthach purposely let Ellen escape her to confront Ray since she knew that Ray had a plan for Ellen. She also wanted to give Ray a test since she hadn't had a training session with Ray for a while now.

When Yoshino wanted to sneak away, Scáthach sent one of her spears that lodged on the floor a hairbreadth away from cutting her skin which terrified the helpless girl that fell to the floor due to fear.

The spear is her original spear that felled countless opponents that the spear can induce the illusion of being killed by this spear in horrific ways.

The one she sees right now is impalement which turns her into a skewer on a stick and causes her eyes to turn white then pass out on the floor with her soul trying to escape from her mouth.

"Hmn, that's awfully easy. Even the wizards were able to resist for a few seconds before they passed out."

Scáthach mutters a bit before focusing on the fight between Ray and Ellen.

When the sword almost cut off my little brother, I panicked a little before remembering I can regrow it no problem other than the trauma it inflicts on me.

'Unforgivable! After I capture that bitch, I'll punish her for this transgression.'

Then after successfully attacking me, Ellen retreated slightly before continuing attacking any part of my body except the chest area. She seems to have noticed the limitation of Prototype Aegis 3.

Using Kinesis, I manipulate the air to condense on her to slow her movement with ice, especially the mechanical part of her CR suit.

Lining up pistol form Ikaros to Ellen, I imbue penetration and blast effect on the bullet before the rune on the magic circle stirred up and changed appearance.

A large bang like a cannon blasted when I pulled the trigger but I barely felt the recoil. The air rippled like a jet just passed through and created a shockwave as the bullet traveled straight to its mark on Ellen's chest.

Surprised by the unexpected blast from such a small firearm, Ellen activated the defensive Territory to defend against the bullet however the Territory could not hold on as it cracked like a broken glass.

When she just realized what had happened, she quickly shifted her body to the side before letting the bullet pass her which created a violent wind and shattered the whole building next to their current building and rained rubbles and fragments of the walls.

"What…"

Ellen is definitely flabbergasted by the amount of firepower this spirit casually throws at her that she now wonders if she should regret fighting him and run or continue to act on her pride.

That's just a pistol? She will not believe it, only airship cannon can destroy a building that big with a single blast. Never had a handheld cannon penetrate and explode that well, usually it's either one of them due to the spec and energy requirements that are only feasible on an airship… a fucking air ship.

Meanwhile I am still thinking if I should add more penetration power than blast power. Ellen would puke blood if she knew what Ray was thinking of.

Seeing that she is at a disadvantage if she fights in a closed area, Ellen flies into the sky where she has advantages.

I floated in the air to chase after her using Kinesis but was attacked with Rhongomiant, the cannon attached to her CR suit that unfortunately can't hit me as the energy beam simply curved away by altering the space and Precognition.

I can see her frustrated face from here as her weapon is ineffective against me which is not true. If she shot at me when I was busy defending against her then her shots would hit me.

"Seeing the pitiful you, let me give you a handicap. I will use my sword only for this battle to be fair." I mocked her while copying her proud tone.

"I don't need your pity! Fight me with everything you got."

Overwhelmed by her rage for being mocked at by Ray, she dive from the air and do rapid slashes on Ray who simply dodged using his dodging ability honed in Bloodborne world while occasionally counterattack when he finds a gap in her defence.

Seeing that I easily evade her attack and able to effortlessly counter her, she becomes increasingly angry as she feels humiliated and played with as an opponent that I will not take her seriously.

Since I have superior stats and multiple skills and abilities that stack my odds against her, I have leeway to not take her seriously as I wanted to keep her in pristine condition when I give her punishment for attempting to castrate me.

When even her Rhongomiant didn't work, she discarded the thought of using more ranged or projectile weapons that drain her faster than her energy sword that are already quickly draining her energy reserve.

She dived in on final time to clash with me who landed on the roof while holding Artemis coated with ethereal green glow in 1H form.

The strong clash between us ruptured the floor and caused me to lose my footing when falled down the ruptured floor.

Taking advantage of my situation, she stabbed my left thigh and punctured a hole in it. The wound cauterized immediately as I felt for a brief moment my leg being cooked inside out by the energy sword.

She thought she was victorious in this fight however I barely flinched by the attack that was incomparable by being cleaved in half by a sharpened placenta of a god.

I take advantage of her lapse in judgement and bashed her using the flat side of Artemis like a baseball bat that easily crushed her defensive Territory with my superior strength causing her to hit the floor and destroy it until she reached the ground floor.

The attack caused her to pass through another two floors until she finally stopped as her internal body was injured by the impact from me.

Blood can be seen flowing out of her mouth as she tries her best to stand up but the wrecked CR suit becomes more of a burden than strengthening her.

The fight was anticlimactic as Ray's strength greatly surpassed her. He only lacked techniques and was forced to use brute force to subdue her.

"So much as the strongest in the world." I said after jumped down to the ground floor next to Ellen.

".. kill me… you've won the fight… no need to humiliate me… with petty words." Ellen struggles to say as her breath becomes laboured and her body is heavy like being filled with lead.

"Kill you? No no no, not after your attempt to castrate me not once but twice."

"Moi hath never been angered this much since Moi graduated from Bloodborne."

"Moi…?"

"Ahem!"

"Letting you die such an easy death is quite wasteful. I will brainwash your into becoming my slave to fight and die for me." I patiently explain to her my plan for her after this.

"Oh perhaps after I mind control you to obey my every order while being conscious inside as I punish you on the bed for castrating me hm… yes a great idea indeed. Hahahaha"

'Master… master? Master! Wake up from your delusion. Finish this first and you can punish her later, we still have ro group up with Scáthach to capture the remaining wizards.'

Through my link with Artemis, I heard her shout before I snapped out of my unexpected sadistic thought of dealing with Ellen.

I made quick with restraining her using a rag and magic rope I created. I also not forget to strip her off the CR suit and wiring suit which leave her as threatening as a civilian before calling upon the messengers to drop her in my room in Hunter's Dream.

Scáthach that has been spectating the whole fight can see the results of the fight. Ray has some training in sword technique from her however he naturally shifts to brute force due to that being more comfortable for him.

But hearing Ray's rambling about punishing Ellen, she noticed something that could be dangerous to her master.

She notices the faint feeling of a god on him. She summarised as his divinity of Eldritch is influencing his mind. Usually when Ray enters a fight, the innate ability [Cold Blooded Killer] will suppress his emotions from interfering with his judgement, however , maybe after almost being castrated twice, he instinctively activate Eldritch divinity that have corrupting effect and heightening of negative emotions caused him to become as such.

She puts the thought aside and quickly moves to Tsukuyomi and the wizards along with the still fainted Yoshino that she simply drags her using the edge of her green raincoat.

When she arrived, she noticed Ray also almost arrived while speeding through the air using Kinesis.

She steals a glance on Ray and notices the divinity vanished and his emotions become suppressed once more as he looks around to see Tsukuyomi trapped the wizards under several domes made of defensive plates.

"Master! What happened, Artemis told me you almost lost control just now."

Tsukuyomi excitedly rushed toward Ray and hugged his waist before looking up adorably which caused Ray to soothe himself by playing with the fluffy ears as Tsukuyomi purred with his eyes closed.

"I don't know, a weird thought suddenly appeared in my mind… Nevermind, let's clean up before people exit the spacequake shelter."

Tsukuyomi nodded before the dome disassembled and restrained the individual wizards as Ray transferred them into his pocket dimension before they all fled the scene.

15 minutes ago before the spacequake started, Kotori and everyone were busy dealing with the appearance of Kurumi and Nia.

They are introducing themselves while Reine suddenly sweated slightly when seeing Kurumi and hearing her declaration to seek revenge from Phantom.

Suddenly, the spacequake alarm went off and they were quickly able to identify the spirit as Hermit. Kotori quickly called Shido to seal Hermit.

They are discussing and waiting for the perfect moment to drop off Shido to start the date. However they get the visual of the situation where hundreds of wizards belonging to DEM suddenly appeared and were ready to fight but vanished and they saw Ray and Scáthach, who was accompanied by Tsukuyomi.

They saw the entire encounter of Ray with Hermit all the way to subduing Ellen which greatly surprised them as the strongest wizard is easily defeated. Kurumi and Nia who saw the results of the DEM private island attack simply shrug it off as nothing special.

Then after the clean up, they saw the strange lamp again before Ray, Tsukuyomi and Scáthach vanished.

"Did they just fight the whole DEM elite wizards and strongest wizards then win easily…" Kotori said in surprise as her eye was still glued to the monitor.

"I see nothing special here."

*Hmn hmn" Nia nodded

Kurumi and Nia think this is normal but for Fraxinus crews and Kotori, this isn't something as simple as Kurumi thinks it off.

Ray basically dealt with their rival in one swoop and made their future mission to seal spirits easier since no more DEM secretly screwed with their plan.

For the past few days after the fight, Ray was seated in his pocket dimension while around 200 wizards were in there along with him.

There is a difference however, one group of wizards is free and unrestrained while another group is restrained by defensive plates.

"17 more left…" Ray utter while looking at the remaining wizards which are restrained and unconscious while the one in front of him right now is held down by the already switched side wizards.

They dressed in their CR suit which is… barely cover their skin and due to various reasons, they are actively looking at Ray eagerly trying to please him after Artemis suddenly appeared yesterday trying to have sex with Ray after being lonely for three days.

Due to that, the already enthralled wizards are acting submissive and breedable which become more precarious as newly dominated wizards poisoned with this ideas as they copy their 'seniors' behaviour.

Meanwhile one terrified Ellen looks at the entire process from the start till now while her body being unresponsive. She could only silently look as her ability to move and talk being deprived from her by Ray and Scáthach.

"Next one… go there and standby. Hmm… [Dominate]"

Another wizard dominated before another one was woken up and dragged to him while trying to struggle weakly.

After using his [Dominate] this many times, Ray's willpower strengthened again and using the ability became easier as he was able to easily suppress the opponent's will and enslaved them to him.

After two more hours, he finally finished the last one. He releases a satisfied sigh before he stretches his body that has been sitting for days. After a few cracks, he lay down on the floor.

Quickly few of the girls that are nearby fight amongst themselves to give Ray their lap.

'This is life, surrounded by beautiful girls… ah is this what those harem protagonists feel when girls fight against each other to get into their pants.'

With another satisfied sigh, he just hugged any girl his both hands could catch before he fell asleep since using his willpower for several days nonstop made him tired as the mental fatigue stacked up.

"Muh, young master Ray fell asleep." The girl that gave him a lap pillow said as she looked at Ray's face, mesmerised and took this chance to touch his face with a dreamy expression on her face.

"His face was so charming I wet myself when he hugged me. I thought he wanted to eat me here." One of the hugged girls said as her face blushed as she also touched Ray's body while taking a deep breath of his scent which made her hornier.

"Indeed, I'm thankful for him to accept us even if he only treat me as a lowly slave." Another girl that Ray hugged said while looking at her other sisters which agreed easily to her statement.

"Wait, don't change the topic here. Let me hug young master Ray too, unfair that only you three get to be close to him." One of them protested but the other silenced her to not disturb Ray's rest.

All the wizards are within the age of 19 to 26 which means all of them are attractive women in ripe age to be eaten by Ray. A portion of them have beauty that can be considered as great and even rival beautiful models in magazines.

They can be considered as Ray's harem and personal escort that also act as his soldiers.

Unlike summoned Hunters, they are tied to his divinity of Hunt that allow him to summon hunters to fight for him. These wizards can summon anytime anywhere without limitation of duration or usage of ability since soldier type unit summon cost nothing to summon. He can also assign them to a leader to manage them which allows Ray to summon soldiers anywhere he needs as long as he can handle the logistics of keeping them.

While the girls are talking amongst themselves, suddenly one of them points out Ellen, who is restrained and looking at them.

"Look, that ungrateful bitch that refuses young master's grace. Perhaps we should teach her some lessons."

"Yeah! I suffered under that bossy bitch lead. Now that situation has turned, let me teach her some lessons since we can heal her back later." One of the girls proposed as more agreed and looked at Ellen with an eager gaze.

Ellen herself however is helpless as she cannot even move her body or even dissuade them since her body refuses to listen to her command after whatever Ray and Scáthach did to her body.

She remembers Scáthach said something about her being Ray's spoil of victory and becoming his property.

When they about to torture Ellen, the defensive plates moved itself and defended her.

"When did master give his order to touch his property?" Tsukuyomi suddenly appeared while seated on Ray in seiza while his tail straighten upward and his eyes become slitted as he stare at the girls.

Tsukuyomi's sudden appearance causes the girls to hesitate since his rank is higher than them as the main harem of Ray while they are similar or below that of concubine rank, if Ray is a king.

Feeling the familiar weight above him, Ray then releases the girls he hugged and embraces the fluffy Tsukuyomi as his lip curves up slightly.

Tsukuyomi unconsciously moves his tail to Ray's face as Ray buries his face into the mass of fluffy fur that feels as soft as cotton and soft like silk.

The scene causes the girls to envy Tsukuyomi who is Ray's harem member and able to regularly engage in skinship with Ray.

Artemis, who wanted to summon herself, joined Tsukuyomi to sleep with Ray. Then Ikaros also joined as she replaced the girl that gave Ray a lap pillow. Her impassive expression and lowered head made other girl thought she fell asleep immediately but she is actually awake but simply closed her eyes to conserve energy.

With Ikaros' appearance, Ray looks like a holy man blessed by an angel in his sleep while surrounded by two world class beauties although one is a male but whatever.

The scene continued for a few more hours until Ray woke up to Artemis and Tsukuyomi in both arms while he could feel something keeping him warm.

Looking up he saw light pink coloured wings like the colour of cherry blossom. Ikaros used her wings to keep him warm since Pocket dimension doesn't have an environment and constantly at cold temperatures.

"Good morning master Ray." Ikaros greeted him while Ray gave a hum as reply before giving both Artemis and Tsukuyomi a kiss on their cheek to wake them up.

"Oh morning master." Artemis said while rubbing her eyes and Tsukuyomi simply woke up and stretched his body like a fox would when they wake up from a long sleep.

Hearing Ray's voice, the girls also stirred up from their rest and quickly formed a rank in a rectangular shaped formation like well trained soldiers.

"Ikaros, you bring her to my room and wait while I settle them down." Ray points at Ellen before pointing at the wizards.

Ikaros nodded before Ray sent both Ikaros and Ellen into his house. After that he opens a passage directly to Healing Church to find Laurence to lead him to accommodate the wizards.

The messenger lamp appears before Ray along with Artemis and Tsukuyomi teleported to Grand Cathedral where Laurence can usually be found.

When he reached the Grand Cathedral, many people saw Ray suddenly appear which shocked them. The Church Hunters that are about to apprehend the intruder quickly bow respectfully before Ray asks one of them to lead him to Laurence.

They walk deeper into the quarters before they stop at a door that seems to be the office for the church as it leads to a large hall that has a few dozen church members in black, white and red robes instead of clothes that prioritize mobility and dexterity.

They are the office worker equivalent that sort and manage the whole city and the church affairs. Since the city is controlled by the church, they are significantly understaffed especially after the expansion of frontier villages and outposts.

"Lord Ray, what can this humble one help you today?" Laurence immediately came running when he saw Ray arrive at the room.

"I need a place to let my new group settle, preferably a private area."

"Oh then how about Lord Ray's new mansion? Our eager people had finished its construction." Laurence said as he looked at Ray's face in anticipation.

"You what! Are you serious?" Ray look at Laurence in surprise.

"It's been like less than a week and you already finished the mansion!?" Ray asked again thinking he misheard what Laurence said.

"Oh, I anticipated your surprised Lord Ray. The whole city stopped all activities and joined to build your grand mansion. The help of the beastmen is especially helpful with completing the task quicker."

Laurence leads Ray out and toward the mansion they build at the side of the city. They cleared a large opening of land around 1km of area to build Ray's mansion. Even now Ray can still see a lot of people planting plants and digging ponds which he assumes to be a garden with a pond for his mansion.

The mansion is already fully constructed and started to be filled with furniture that he saw Cainhurst people unloading from the carriage. The furniture is then carried by four wolf beastman into the mansion.

"This is the Mansion, Lord Ray. Although not fully furnished, it is fully usable and I can arrange staff to man the mansion which include maid, butler and chef."

Ray, still speechless, finally snapped out of it and nodded to Laurence's suggestion before he looked around at the people that looked at him with admiration and worship.

He then snaps his finger to summon all the wizards which cause gasps from the people since their clothing is covering very less of their body.

Multiple whispers like Ray is a massive stud, Ray have hundreds of mistresses and many more that are going to spice up the rumor tonight in the bar are being passed around while Ray didn't care about it while he managed the wizards.

Later he summoned Scáthach to stay here to manage and teach them to improve their combat ability while he going to warp up the contract since only one mission left which is to deal with the final transmigrator which is Isaac.

(Note: well you would be disappointed with the lackluster fighting scene which is kinda eh…

At first when entering Date a Live world, I wanted to make Ellen become the antagonist since I always see her as an OP character until I conducted research for this chapter and end up in a disappointment really.

For that reason I changes the antagonist to Isaac and dope him with overused op ability and make it harder for Ray to fight before starting a self discovery arc for him to become a cultivator and ascend the heaven through breakthrough and tribulations.

I was joking about the ascending heaven but he will definitely go through a self discovery arc for me to 'fix' himself a little. To polish the rough gem.)
