Enigmatic Stranger
Raze sat on the invisible ground, trying to reel back his emotions and thoughts.
"Let's try to get this straight" he said to no one.
For some reason, his actions on the second floor angered a goddess called Athex, who tried to get him killed by interfering with his reward.
There is also a third entity working against him behind the scenes.
And these two are the ones responsible for all the terrible encounters and ridiculously tough challenges he has faced in the tower so far.
There's also the tower, which, if his guess is correct, is secretly protecting him and limiting the things these two could do to influence him and his challenges.
Despite his best efforts to calm himself, it didn't work.
The situation he had found himself in was simply too crazy and absurd for him to accept.
A cold sweat rolled down his forehead.
