73 C69 Tournament (2)

Gimme dem stones. Here is a scenario for you. You appear in a frozen tundra with only what you can carry. There's no civilization anywhere near you and you have to survive a month alone. What do you bring along with you. Remember that you have to be able to carry everything you bring along with you. Enjoy the chapter!)
"Welcome Lady's and Gentlemen. To the second day of the Tournament to find the strongest in the kingdom. I hope your all ready because today is the start of the one-on-one matches. Today can be said to be the true start to the tournament, so sit back and enjoy the show." I say as I make my grand entrance.
The crowd roars in excitement for the matches to come. I then turn my attention to the contestants.
"The rules are that same as yesterday, so do your best to follow them. When I call your name, please come to the arena for your match. Today's matches will consist of the 70s section. If everything goes smoothly, tomorrow's matches will be the 80s." I inform them and call the first names of the day.
"When I leave the arena, you may start fighting." I say and the two contestants bow to me with respect. "I wish you both good fortune in your battle." I wish they luck and disappear in a flash of flame.
I then appear on the balcony designated for the royal family. My father is busy today so the only other person in the balcony is my mother. As I take a seat beside my mother, I give her a quick peck on the cheek.
"Who do you think will win?" I ask my mother as Rem pours me some tea.
"Hmm, they are about the same rank, so I'm not sure." She replies.
When I wasn't down in the arena officiating the matches, my mother and I would make meaningless bets on who we thought would win the matches. I've been right the majority of the time. I guess I have a good eye for this kind of stuff. A few hotheads showed up in the matches today, and I had to intervene and disqualify a few contestants. The majority of the disqualifications were for contestants that tried to kill their opponents. Many people seem to fight in anger/hatred as their default emotion. These types of people seem to have a hard time controlling their emotions.
After today's part of the tournament ended, I went straight to the palace to prepare for the dungeon. As I was about to leave for the dungeon, a Souei clone appeared before me.
"Master, I've found some information about the princesses as you ordered." He says as he kneels.
"What have you found?"
"It's far more complicated than I thought it would be." Souei says with a complicated expression on his face. "The elder princess isn't what she seems."
"What do you mean? Is she some secret bad guy or something?" I ask as I raise an eyebrow.
"Yes and no. The elder princess has been kidnapped and replaced by an imposter. I haven't figured out who the imposter works for, but it definitely isn't the real princess." Souei reveals.
"How can you tell?" I asked.
"When you had me look into the princesses, I investigated their attributes. Princess Aellas attribute is blood. The blood attribute is extremely rare in humans. After seeing her attribute, I investigated further and saw that she's using some sort of shapeshifting ability. I believe she needs the blood of whatever she changes into. Well, he or she. I'm not sure which gender the imposter truly is." Souei explains.
Ugh, I feel like I'm going to throw up. If the imposter is a male then that f*cker kissed my cheek. I'll kill him if it's a guy. I hope the imposter is at the very least a female.
"Let's not think about that for the moment. Do you know the whereabouts of the real Princess Aella?" I ask.
"No, but I'm looking into it now." Souei shakes his head.
"Alright, try and find her as soon as possible. Also, how did this pertain to the younger princess? It's Ruby that caused me to look into her family in the first place."
"Based on what I have uncovered, the elder princess used to spoil her sister. Then the imposter took over, and the eldest princess started acting cold towards Ruby. The imposter has slowly started bullying her, and has been treating Ruby worse and worse as time goes by." Souei explains.
"Hmm, this is such a mess." I sigh as I massage my temple. "While you're looking for the missing princess, try to find out who this imposter works for. We'll leave this imposter alone for now, as we don't want to risk the life of the real princess. When we have the real Princess Aella, we'll capture the imposter and interrogate him or her."
"Yes, Master. That seems like the best course of action." The Souei clone says and teleports away.
*sigh*
Why does everything have to be so complicated all the time?
After receiving that bit of information, I went straight to the dungeon. We appeared at the stairs down to the sixth floor. The sixth floor was a lot different than the previous floors. This floor is a huge cave covered in bright glowing rocks. The cave itself isn't empty, as before us is a giant forest. Flora and fauna as far as the eye can see. I could even see some normal animals running around.
This is by far the most interesting floor I've been on. The first thing that I thought when I enter the cave is 'can I mine those glowing rocks?'. If those rocks glow forever, then their use for lighting would come in handy. Imagine being able to create light without spending resources to do so. You don't have to burn firewood for light, or put oil in a lamp. Simply buy a few rocks and you have light wherever you place them. This could come in handy with my street light plan for Sena. My city could actually have a nightlife with these rocks. I will have to collect some of them for research. Hopefully, they don't lose their glow outside the dungeon.
