A week has gone by since the night Aella slept with me and Rem. Rem and Aella have started to become chummy with each other. Rem asked me if she could go shopping with Aella when I got back from school and I agreed instantly. One, she needs clothes as she doesn't have much other than maid outfits. Two, her and Aella becoming friendly was my idea in the first place. I sent her on her way and did my homework for school. Yes, Aella started giving out homework. We were even given some training exercises to do at home. I already train and exercise out of school, so I didn't even bother to do them.

Rem and Aella aren't the only two getting close. Aella has been treating me more like a marriage candidate. She comes to the west wing all of the time now. Once she found out that Rem doesn't hate her, I think she stopped feeling guilty about being with me. Rem, Aella, and I spent most of this week together. I even showed Aella the TV that I bought from the system, and we watched some movies together. She promised that she wouldn't reveal it to anyone. I told her that it's something my duchy has been working on. I asked her on a date the other day and she agreed easily.

I've been taking this week slow and haven't gone to the dungeon again. I'll go and fight the boss on the 10th floor soon, but before that, I have a ball to attend. The queen is throwing a charity ball for the orphanages I'm the kingdom. I would feel bad if I didn't show up, so I asked Aella to accompany me as my date. She agreed as long as I took Rem along as well. I guess she doesn't want to leave her friend out. Having no problem with having two dates for the ball, I agreed easily. I bought a nice Armani suit from the system and some dresses for both Aella and Rem.

When the day came for the ball, we met in the west wing and walked through the palace to get to the palace's ballroom. We arrived early as Aella has to greet guests, and as her fiancé, I have to be by her side giving greetings as well. When the king and queen saw that I walked in with one woman on each arm, the king looked at me enviously. While the queen looks at me with disapproval marring her face. After greeting all of the Powerful and rich members of the Bestia kingdom, even the ones that glare at me for being Aellas fiancé. The queen made a speech, as this is her charity event.

The speech consisted of explaining the conditions that orphans have to live in. We were all pretty much guilt-tripped into paying up for better food, housing, and care for the orphans. Everyone already knew that this was a charity, so they brought chests of gold to donate from the beginning. Some of the more emotionally invested sent their servants to fetch more money to give to the queen's cause. I have them my donation before the ball, so I didn't bother giving anymore again.

The group of Aella stalkers looked at me in contempt, as they thought that I didn't donate. I just ignored them and focused on my beautiful dates. After everyone donated their gold, a band started to play and some people started to dance. Rem and Aella aren't the dancing type, so I didn't bother asking them to dance. Although, Aellas sister Ruby is the dancing type and she seemed to be fending off about five noblemen who are asking her to dance. Deciding to save her, I walk over and pull her to the dance floor. The noblemen surrounding her were too shocked to say anything, and by the time they could speak we were already dancing ten yards away from them.

"Shouldn't you be dancing with my sister?" She asks as we glide along the ballroom floor.

"Yes, but we both know your sister isn't the dancing type." I say and Ruby nods in agreement. "I also saw your little predicament and thought that I would save you."

"Thanks, I really appreciate it." She says thankfully as I twirl her around.

When the song ended, Aella came up to us and said something I didn't expect.

"Can I cut in for the next dance?" She asked as she practically pulled me away from her sister.

"Sure thing, Sis." Ruby says and walks away with a smirk as she notices her sister's behavior.

The next song starts as Aella and I start dancing.

"Your jealousy is very cute." I state with a small smile on my face.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I just wanted to dance." She says and turns her head away from me.

"We both know that you hate dancing." I say and she flinched slightly at my words.

"Well, I just wanted to dance with my fiancé." She says trying to cover up her jealousy with any excuse that comes to mind.

"Ohh? I thought you haven't made up your mind yet?" I say as I twirl her as I did her sister. When I said that she couldn't think of any more excuses and just stayed quiet. "It's okay to be jealous, Aella. In fact, as I said it's very cute."

As we are dancing one of Aellas admirers that I couldn't remember the name of went to the stage and shouted something. What was his name? Arshad? Ahsad? Whatever, It doesn't matter.

"Attention, please! Now that everyone has given their donations. I would like to say something if that would be permissible?" He says and looks to the king and queen for permission.

They both think for a moment and give him a nod of acceptance. A smirk appears on his face as he addresses the crowd once again.

"I'm sorry that I have to do this on a day of giving such as this, but I have to do what I think is right." He says and pauses for dramatic effect. "I challenge Prince Syrin Fortis to a duel to the death for the hand of Princess Aella Bestia!" He states and everyone in the room starts murmuring amongst each other.

'*sigh* This guy just opened the flood gates. Now, all of these other Aella stalkers are going to start challenging me as well.'
