(William Rods POV)

One more day, I will train with Yanma.

Since I started, I think I've improved my defense with the sword.

Before, I just dodged attacks, now I can defend and prepare a simple counterattack.

I arrived at the training camp and did my lessons that Yanma gives me. However, I feel like she wants to say something, but she can't.

"Are you okay?" I ask her, who is looking down on a bench.

I'm exhausted, this resistance training is the hardest.

"Hmm?" Yanma lifts her head and looks at me as if she was scared. "It's nothing, I just remembered that this will be the last year you will train with me." What is she saying?

"S-Sorry?" Is she serious?

"I didn't know a better way to say that..." Yanma smiles.

"But why?"

"I feel like I have nothing left to teach you." She says. "I'm sorry, but I'm not a skilled swordsman to teach you much." She adds.

"What are you talking about?" I ask. "You've already taught me a lot. I'm sure you must be a very strong swordsman!" I answer.

Yanma is captain of the knights. She must definitely be an above-average knight.

"Hahaha, I wish I was really strong." She says. "I know a really strong swordsman. When I get home, I'll write a letter for him to come train you." I do not know what to say.

I've been training with Yanma since I met her, and I don't want to be ungrateful and just abandon her.

"You don't need to write the letter..." She looks at me. "At least, not now..." It seems like her eyes suddenly started to shine. "I still need to learn to be a great knight. I'm not talking about strength, I'm talking about dignity." Yanma gets up and puts her hand on my head.

"Well, I'm not an example of dignity or honor. But I'll do my best so you won't be disappointed." She says and starts walking towards the tents

"I think you could start to stop drinking. That would be a big step forward." I say.

"We are talking about honor, not miracles." She responds.

"Why can't you stop drinking? Like, don't you just stop? What's so good about a drink?"

"If it were that easy, I would have stopped a long time ago." She responds.

"What do you mean?"

"It's not something you should worry about." She says

Strange. I don't think she wants to talk about it...

After that, I helped Yanma organize the other knights' equipment.

By organizing the bows and placing them on a shelf, placing the swords on vertical supports, placing the armor in chests, and all kinds of equipment, we find a way to leave them in an organized place.

"By the way, do you know any mage who can train my brother?" I remember Light had asked about this

"Hmm..." She stops and thinks. "I don't remember having a mage friend who is active." She says. "But if I remember anyone, I'll let you know." Yanma adds.
