"What's going on, Bri?" Michael asked and Brian let out a sharp breath, resting his back to the couch.

"I think the attack was meant for her. Have someone look into Sammy and her manager's recent activities and let me know what you found out." Brian said, returning back to his usual self. 

Michael didn't reply for a while, until Brian turned to face him. 

Seeing the searching look his manager is giving him, "It's not what you think." He said and massaged his temple. 

"I know. Brian, you didn't do anything wrong. You were not at fault and showing how much you feel guilty to a woman, would only spoil them. 

Even if you want to do something for her in return, don't let her know exactly how you feel. She will take advantage of you." Michael warned and wasn't expecting Brian to reply, but he did.
