Chapter 8

Third Person:

"Tae! Tae! Are you okay? Omg, Jin get the car keys" Namjoon exclaimed

"Just open the car, I'll carry him"

"Relative of Kim Taehyung?" the nurse announced.

"Over here" both Jin and Namjoon got up at once.

"The doctor's ready to see you now" she pointed to a rom before leaving.

"Good evening, gentlemen. Have a seat" the doctor offered the two seats in front of him. Namjoon and his husband took a seat and await the news the doctor had to give.

"Where's Taehyung?" Jin asked scanning the room.

"He's okay and he's in another room. Before we head over there. I would like to talk to you about some stuff regarding Taehyung.

I'm pretty sure you've heard about male pregnancy"

Jin's eyes widen at the statement, already knowing what happened.

"A male can get pregnant if he's carrying a female reproductive organ, in this case which is an uterus. Basically he's a carrier of a female organ which enables him to get pregnant. To conclude my very simple statement. Your brother is pregnant."

"Ah.. yes I understand. Can we go see him?"

"Yes, go ahead. I'll be in to check up on him soon and explain some things.

Jin and Namjoon walked out heading to Taehyung's ward room.

"You're not surprised?" Jin asked holding his husband's hand.

"No. Not really, my mom informed me when I was a teenager or something. I just didn't bother to tell him. In my defense, I didn't know he was gonna get pregnant this soon"

"This soon Joon? he's 22. He's supposed to know"

Namjoon opened the door leading to the room. He saw Taehyung sitting up playing with the drips connected to his hands.

"Hey kiddo" Namjoon gave his famous dimple smile.

"Hey, am I set to go?" Taehyung asked, trying to get up.

"No no not yet, calm down" Jin said helping taehyung sit back down.

"Why? Is there something wrong? Please tell me it won't hinder me from going to Spain"

"Maybe, maybe not. It's your choice." Namjoon said rubbing his back.

"What do you mean it's my choice? What's going on?"

"Taehyung. You're pregnant" Jin blurted out suddenly.

"Jin!" Namjoon exclaimed.

"What? You were taking too long to say it"

"Still! There was a better way to say it that blurting it out" Namjoon remarked.

"Really? How?" Jin replied.

"Guys. Shut up for a second. What do you mean I'm pregnant? Are you guys pulling a prank on me? Did Yoongi hyung put you up to this? You know his favorite thing is pulling pranks on me. I sw-"

" hello Taehyung. My name is Dr Park, I'll be your doctor for tonight and probably the rest of your pregnancy. How are you feeling?"

"What pregnancy? Wait this isn't a joke?! I'm a guy. How the heck am I pregnant?"

"Uh- I am guessing you haven't explained to him that he's a carrier. Okay um, you basically have an uterus and fortunately, you're also carrying a baby. Yay!" The doctor smiled

"That's a lot to take in and you just kinda made it better. Ok, I'm pregnant. Oh god. I'm pregnant."

"Yes, yes you are. And speaking of which, would you like to hear the fetus's heartbeat?"

At this point it's just taehyung and the doctor talking while Namjoon and Seokjin already stepped outside without Taehyung noticing.

"Do you think he will still wanna go to Spain? I wish he doesn't. He can't take care of a kid alone. He's a kid himself." Jin said.

" Nuh uh, you told me he's 22 so technically he's not a kid." Namjoon joked that resulted into getting smacked playfully.

" should we call Jungkook? It's better if they both take care of the child right?" Jin reasoned.

" definitely not. Hell no. That son of a bitch is not coming near Taehyung or the child"

" you do know that this is Taehyung's choice? If he wants Jungkook involved, then Jungkook would be involved. And Jungkook also has a Right to this child"

"Mr Kim? Taehyung wants to see you. I  explained some stuff to him and I'll head over to the ultrasound room over there to the left and you can come down in like 10-15 minutes to get him ready for the ultrasound. You guys can join too, if you wanna hear the heartbeat"

"Oh okay. Thank you Dr.....

"Park. Dr Park Boyoung" she added.

"So.... what did you talk about? Anything we need to know?"

"Not really. She just told me that I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I need to come for check up every  four weeks starting today. And I'm still Tryna let the fact that I'm pregnant sink in"

"Aww you poor baby. Don't worry we're here with you." Jin hugged him.

"I know that but it's only for the next 9 days. I'm still going to Spain and from then on, it'll just be me"

"Well you could just not go to Spain" Namjoon remarked while sitting on the couch.

"Uhnn... no. I'm definitely still going"

"So I'm guessing you're not gonna tell Jungkook then?" Jin asked while pulling away from the hug.

Taehyung raised his head "No."

"Okay then it's your choice. Come on you have that ultrasound in two minutes. We can't keep her waiting" Namjoon stated.

The three of them left the ward to head over to the room Dr Park had described earlier.

"Did she say to take a left or right?" Jin asked as he points

"I'm pretty sure she said left cause it says OB/GYN right there"

"You okay? Taehyung?" Jin shakes him a little.

"Yup... I'm great" he falsely chuckled.

The truth is .... he's nervous very very  nervous.

"Hello again, Taehyung. I'm gonna have you lie down right here"
