Breakfeast

The car pulled up in front of an elegantly lit building with large windows showcasing sleek interiors and warm lighting. I blinked in surprise as I took in the polished wood doors and tastefully understated sign that simply read, 'Étoile'. This was not the kind of place you just casually walked into for breakfast. 

Zaya climbed out of the car, moving to hold open my door, and I followed, unable to hide my amazement as I looked up at the beautiful restaurant in front of us.

"Are you serious?" I muttered, adjusting my bag on my shoulder as I stared at the opulent facade. "This is where we're getting breakfast?"

Zaya raised a brow. "You'd prefer somewhere else?" She gestured toward the door, her expression cool but amused. "I can't eat with strangers staring at me, so I reserved the place for us. You'll be fine."
