Mia got a phone call from Brian that he wants to see her immediately.

Mia rushed to see why he wants to see her . She knocked on the office door and heard Brian telling her to open the door. She opened the door to Brian's angry face, Mia got scared that he might fire her.

Sir you said you wanted to see me Mia asked Yes why did you allow a stranger into my office Brian asked.

Sir she sounded so urgent so I directed her to your office Mia answered with a shaking voice.

so because she sounded urgent you think you can let anyone into my office like that Brian scolded.

Sir I'm very sorry it will not happen again Mia said almost crying .

Get out of my office now Brian said, Mia was about to leave when he called her back , Be ready by 7am tomorrow we have a meeting at City B Brian said and Mia left.

Mia left early that day so that she would be able to get ready early, when she was stuffing her suitcase she remembered what her step father told her, so she called her best friend Almira and told her all that happened.

You can come stay with me Almira said. Okay but I'm worried about my mum Mia asked. Don't worry she would be fine, so when are you coming to my house Almira asked Soon maybe after I return back from city B Mia said looking frustrated.

The next day Mia got ready early and rushed to work on getting there she met Brian there, Mia became surprised.

Wait I thought I was early Mia said to herself, on getting to where Brian was he looked at her in anger and asked. Why are you late Brian asked Nothing Mia said. 

So are we taking a cab or your car to the airport Mia asked. Yes we are taking my car Brian answered and just then the car arrived.

Mia walked quickly to car and sat down. Sir where are we going The driver asked . Don't worry I will drive Brian answered. No sir I can't let you drive it's against my work ethnics The driver declined. Who made the rules,I did , not you, so find a cab and go home Brian said and the driver stepped out and gave him the keys. Yes sir The driver said and Brian drove off.
