Petal's POV

"Petal if you are up, get ready for college, it's already late" yelled my mom from the kitchen downstairs.My mother's voice echoed through the house, urging me to get ready for college as it was already late. Glancing at the clock, I realized it was 8 o'clock and my classes started at 9. Although my college was just a 15-minute walk away, my father usually dropped me off. He worked as a professor at the same college, while my mother took care of our family. I have two siblings - an elder brother who works abroad and a younger brother who is also in college, constantly annoying me. Despite the occasional annoyances, we were a happy family.

After getting ready, I dressed in blue jeans, a brown crop top, and a shrug. Having breakfast with my parents, I checked the time - 8:40. Heading to the car with my dad, he dropped me off at the university. Sitting in the middle row of the classroom, I prepared for my math and physics lectures.

As a science student, I also enjoyed sketching, drawing, painting, and reading Wattpad stories. During the physics lecture, I found myself getting bored and sleepy, eagerly waiting to finish the math class and head home to rest. My best friend Samy, whose full name is Samaira Smith, was with me in the physics lecture. We had become friends on the first day of our university when we sat beside each other and struck up a conversation.
